As a continuation of the 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 (𝙋𝘾𝙇) 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, the Sangguniang Bayan of Silago, headed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗔. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗼, 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿, conducted a courtesy visit at Tacloban City Hall on October 2, 2026.

This meaningful engagement reflects the importance of unity, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices in local governance, all geared toward delivering responsive, effective, and people-centered public service.

Through initiatives like these, the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗼 continues to uphold the spirit of partnership and solidarity among local legislators in pursuit of good governance and sustainable community development.

As part of the 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 (𝙋𝘾𝙇) 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, the Sangguniang Bayan of Silago under the leadership of 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗔. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗼 – 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿, paid a courtesy call to the Municipality of Naval, Biliran, on October 1, 2026, where they had the pleasure of meeting 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘇 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 and some members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

The visit served as an opportunity to foster camaraderie, strengthen inter-local government relations, and promote the sharing of experiences and best practices in local governance toward more effective public service.

In celebration of 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 (𝙋𝘾𝙇) 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 2026, the Sangguniang Bayan of Silago headed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗔. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗼 - 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 conducted a feeding program and vitamin supplementation activity for 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 from the 15 barangays of Silago.

This meaningful initiative reflects the commitment of the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 to promoting children's health, proper nutrition, and overall well-being. Through this activity, our young learners are given not only nourishment and essential vitamins but also care and support for a healthier and brighter future.

Together, let us continue investing in the health and happiness of our children, because every child deserves the opportunity to grow healthy, strong, and full of hope.

The Municipality of Silago, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Lemuel Honor, informs the general public that LGU Silago employees will conduct a Team Building Activity tomorrow, Friday, September 18, 2026 at Silago Brown Beach, Pob. Dist. I, Silago, Southern Leyte.

This activity is held in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), recognizing the dedication, hard work, and public service of civil servants across the municipality.

📌 SERVICE ADVISORY FOR SEPTEMBER 18, 2026:

• Municipal Office Operations: Regular administrative office transactions will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the day to allow personnel to participate in the scheduled activity.

• Essential & Emergency Services: Skeletal workforces and frontline emergency response units—including the Rural Health Unit (RHU-Silago), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and emergency responders—will remain operational and on standby for urgent public needs.

Regular office operations across all municipal departments will resume on Monday, September 21, 2026.

The public's understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated as municipal employees commemorate this civil service milestone.
