Under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, Regional Director of BFP Region 11, and the direct supervision of FSUPT DONALD R CONCEPCION, District Fire Marshal, the Davao City Fire District reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to public safety during the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) 2nd Quarter Regular Meeting.

Representing the Davao City Fire District at the high-level security meeting was FSINSP KENNEDY P TALINGTING, Deputy District Fire Marshal.

The security and order conference was presided over by Hon. Vice Mayor Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II and held at the Arcadia Event Center along Quimpo Boulevard, Davao City.

In a strong commitment to strengthen the people behind the uniform, the Bureau of Fire Protection – Davao City Fire District conducted an Organizational Development Seminar today at the World Palace Hotel, Ecoland, Davao City.

Under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT DONALD R CONCEPCION, District Fire Marshal, the activity aimed to promote unity, leadership, and personal growth among personnel.

Under the leadership of Regional Director FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG and the direct supervision of District Fire Marshal FSUPT DONALD R CONCEPCION, Davao City Fire District and partner agencies conducted rescue operations for trapped individuals stranded in an area surrounded by rising river water in Sitio Pagan Grande, Barangay Tamugan, Davao City.

The operation involved the collaborative efforts of DCFD-Special Rescue Force (SRF), DCFD-Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Calinan Fire Station, CDRRMO, Tamugan BDRRMC, Suawan BDRRMC, Semsra BDRRMC, Baganihan BDRRMC, Riverside BDRRMC, Sirib BDRRMC, DCPO, and other responding agencies to ensure the safe evacuation and assistance of affected residents.

DCFD continues to remind the public to stay alert, avoid flooded areas, and immediately coordinate with authorities during emergencies.
