CWD Joins Nationwide Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall Signing

In line with the month-long celebration of the 126th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), the Casiguran Water District (CWD) participated in the nationwide Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall Signing held at the CWD Aguador’s Hub following the flag ceremony today, September 14, 2026.

The activity was attended by CWD Board Members Director Azalea L. Narvadez and Director Eduardo T. Frivaldo, together with the Management led by General Manager Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada, and CWD personnel.

Through this initiative, CWD reaffirms its commitment to provide responsive, efficient, and people-centered water services while serving the community with Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan.

In celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, Casiguran Water District (CWD) joined the Provincial Tree Planting Activity held at Brgy. Bonga, Bulan, Sorsogon, today, September 11, 2026.

The activity was spearheaded by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Sorsogon Provincial Office, led by Director Jocelyn L. Marifosque, in partnership with the Sorsogon Provincial Council of Human Resource Practitioners (SPCHRMP), Inc. and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bulan, headed by Hon. Mayor Romeo A. Gordola.

Joining fellow public servants from various government agencies across the province, CWD was represented by 18 staff members who actively participated in the activity and contributed to this meaningful environmental initiative.

September 09, 2026 – The CWD Technical Team conducted leakage repairs on twelve (12) damaged ½-inch service connections and relocation of the P.E. Pipe, in Barangay San Pascual, Casiguran, yesterday.

Following the repair works, water service was successfully restored in the affected area.o

The repair works was led by Water/Sewerage Maintenance Head, Simeon H. Haboc.

Casiguran Water District (CWD) employees joined 346 fellow public servants from across Sorsogon Province in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary today, September 04, 2026, in Gubat, Sorsogon.

The event, themed “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan”, began at 5:30 a.m. with a warm-up Zumba session at the Encinas Pavilion, followed by a 2.5-kilometer fun run toward the Buenavista Tourism Hub.

The celebration continued with a thanksgiving Mass and program at the Buenavista Tourism Hub, where Gubat Municipal Mayor Ronnel U. Lim and Civil Service Commission Sorsogon Field Office Director II Jocelyn L. Marifosque delivered messages.

Representing CWD were Commercial Section Head Cecilio E. Habalo Jr., Accounting and Budget Section Head Ralph Louie H. Rafer, Cash Management and Collection Section Head Leandro H. Duque, and staff members Norman M. Habla, Rex E. Jersey, Zyrene P. Labalan, Mark Anthony H. Ramos, Elmerck Balisacan, Joselito Dino, Jesry Ivy H. Magas, Gerald J. Madayag, Bernardo Bo, Joshua H. August 18, 2026 – The leakage repair of a damaged 2-inch distribution line at Sitio Uban, Brgy. Casay, was successfully completed today by the CWD Production Team.

The repair work was led by the Production Head, Engr. Jomar H. Venus.

Water supply was restored following the completion of the repair works.

August 17, 2026 – The CWD Technical Team conducted a leakage repair on a damaged ½-inch service connection line at Brgy. Trece Martires today.

Led by Water/Sewerage Maintenance Head Simeon H. Haboc, the repair work also included the restoration of the asphalt to ensure road safety.

Following the completion of the repair work, water supply was restored.
