The Municipality of Solana officially welcomed the month of June through a meaningful Flag Raising Ceremony led by Hon. Mayor Meynard Z. Carag, CPA, together with Hon. Vice Mayor Jennalyn P. Carag, Hon. SB Members, representatives from the PNP and BFP, department heads, LGU personnel, guests, and visitors.

The program commenced with an invocation led by Pastor Samson Catolos and Flordeliza C. Castillo of SAMA, Inc., setting a reflective and inspiring tone for the gathering.

A special recognition to ENS John Jethro Mallillin PN, a proud son of Solana and a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), together with his parents. His achievement stands as a shining example of dedication, discipline, and perseverance, inspiring the youth and bringing pride to the entire Solanian community.

Another highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking of Ms. Jay Marie E. Durian as the new Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO), marking a new chapter in her commitment to delivering responsive and compassionate public service.

The event was further enlivened by a special intermission performance from the Solar Heirs, who will proudly represent Solana in the Festival of Talents on June 18, 2026, hosted by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
