There's nothing wrong with admiring a celebrity, K-pop idol, influencer, saint, or someone you deeply care about. Admiration can inspire us and bring joy to our lives. But from time to time, it's worth asking ourselves: What place does this person hold in my heart?

Sometimes what begins as admiration can slowly become an attachment that occupies more space in our hearts than we realise. Bringing awareness to these attachments isn't about guilt or judgment — it's about ensuring that the things and people we love continue to lead us closer to God, rather than quietly taking His place.

Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
to God who is, who was, and who is to come.
Revelation 1:8

ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS.

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity—the central mystery of our Christian faith. God is One, yet exists eternally as three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

As the Catechism teaches: "The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life" (CCC 234). The Father creates, the Son redeems, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies, united in perfect love and communion.

Through Baptism, we are welcomed into the life of the Trinity and called to reflect that divine love in our families, communities, and daily lives.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

HAVE A BLESSED HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY 🤍

Today, the Church celebrates one of the greatest and deepest mysteries of our faith—the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. We believe in one God in Three Divine Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Though distinct in Person, they are perfectly one in nature, power, and love. This truth is not simply a doctrine to memorize, but a mystery to believe, live, and encounter every day.

The Father is our Creator who lovingly called us into existence. The Son, Jesus Christ, became man to save us from sin and open the gates of eternal life through His death and resurrection. The Holy Spirit continues to guide, sanctify, and strengthen the Church and every believer. From creation to redemption to sanctification, the Holy Trinity is constantly at work in our lives.

The Trinity also teaches us the beauty of unity and love. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in a perfect communion of self-giving love. In the same way, we are called to live in harmony with one another—within our families, communities, friendships, and the Church. True love is never selfish; it gives, serves, forgives, and unites.

Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, we proclaim this sacred mystery. It is not merely a routine gesture before prayer, but a declaration that we belong to the Triune God. We were baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and through that baptism, we became children of God and members of His Church.

Even if the mystery of the Trinity is beyond complete human understanding, it reminds us that God is greater than our minds can fully comprehend, yet close enough for our hearts to know and love. The Holy Trinity is not a puzzle to solve, but a relationship to enter.

May this Holy Trinity Sunday renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and deepen our love for the God who created us, redeemed us, and remains with us always.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🤍

There was a time when Tiana truly believed life would never feel okay again. Between the heartbreak of her marriage ending, the loneliness that followed, and battling breast cancer in the same season, everything felt unbearably heavy. Some nights, she cried herself to sleep, wondering how she was going to get through it all.

But somewhere in the middle of all that pain, she slowly found her way back to hope. Through prayer, healing, and the quiet ways God showed up through people around her, her heart began to change. The hurt did not disappear overnight, but little by little, she found peace again. Looking back now, she realises that even in the moments she felt most abandoned, God never once left her side.

Sunday 24 May 2026
Pentecost

In the evening of the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, ‘Peace be with you’, and showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy when they saw the Lord, and he said to them again, ‘Peace be with you.
‘As the Father sent me,
so am I sending you.’
After saying this he breathed on them and said:
‘Receive the Holy Spirit.
For those whose sins you forgive,
they are forgiven;
for those whose sins you retain,
they are retained.’
