UNITED FOR YOUTH EMPOWERMENT: A SUCCESSFUL SYMPOSIUM AT SCNHS!

The SK Council, in collaboration with Sipalay City National High School (SCNHS), proudly hosted a dynamic and impactful Youth Symposium that brought vital issues to the forefront of student awareness.

Morning Session Highlights
Under the theme “Know the Risks, Know Your Rights: A Youth Awareness Forum,” participants engaged in meaningful discussions on bullying, cyberbullying, health risks, and the rights of young individuals. The session sparked reflection, dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the challenges youth face today.

Afternoon Session Impact
Equally compelling, the afternoon session tackled pressing concerns on the dangers of va**ng and the realities of teenage pregnancy. Through open conversations and expert insights, students were empowered to make informed, healthy choices for their future.

This event marks a significant step in nurturing informed, responsible, and resilient youth in our community. Thank you to all teachers, speakers, and participants who made this symposium a success!

The SK Council of Brgy. 5, in partnership with the passionate SCITAMEHTAM Officers of Cabarrus Catholic College, proudly conducted the SK FREADING PROGRAM—a day filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful engagement with our young learners.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following:

SIPALAY NUTRITION OFFICE – for generously providing nutritious meals that kept our students energized and focused throughout the program.

SCITAMEHTAM OFFICERS – for their unwavering volunteerism and inspiring lectures that sparked curiosity and joy in every classroom.

Brgy. 5 Elementary School – for the warm hospitality extended to all participants. Your support made this event truly memorable.

Together, we continue to build a community where education, health, and youth empowerment thrive. 💙

As we are committed to use our voices to uphold the rules we are also eager to stage what the young ones can bring to the table. The 17 different barangay within the city actively participated in various activities. This is a one of an experience also as the big schools including private institutions located in the area join the occasion.

These all the fun and enjoyment will not be possible without the efforts of every Youth Organizations , SK Councils, Schools and Institutions, SK Federation, LYDO, Local Government Officials and other stakeholders who in anyway make it materialize.

A call of gratitude also to our dear speakers, hosts, judges, who encourages us to be better, keep the energy high and assess every competition organized for the event.

As we amplified Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond, we echoed Empowered Coming Generation of the Future.

Let's not keep it in just captured moments but a push to start button of becoming a youth of Nation's Hope.
