Supporting the next generation of caregivers is a top priority for our district. Today at MOTI in Oroquieta City, we welcomed new scholars to the TESDA Caregiving program.

This initiative is deeply personal to me, inspired by the compassion shown to my late father, Atty. Jorge Almonte, during his toughest times. By prioritizing this, we are empowering students with livelihood skills while ensuring our community's most vulnerable are cared for.

It was a joy to join the people of Sapang Dalaga on August 21 as we officially inaugurated the Integrated Bus Terminal and Public Market at Purok Rosal, Barangay Poblacion. This represents a major leap forward for our local farmers, vendors, and commuters.

This project was made possible by the unwavering partnership between my office, the Provincial Government under Gov. Henry S. Oaminal and the LGU of Sapang Dalaga led by Mayor Dawn Animas. We are also grateful to Rev. Archbishop Martin S. Jumoad for presiding over the ceremonial blessing.

Step by step, we are delivering the infrastructure our district deserves.

Daghang salamat sa tanang niboluntaryo sa atong Bloodletting Activity karong adlawa. Happy Araw ng Usocan, sa Plaridel, Misamis Occidental! ✨🎉

Jorge Almonte, ug padayon natong gisuportahan kaniadto isip Mayor ug hangtud karon isip inyong representante.

Salamat sa inyong pagsuporta, paghatag og dugo ug pagluwas og kinabuhi!

Yesterday, it was my privilege to join Chairperson Sec. Leo Tereso Magno and the Board at the 23rd MinDA Board Meeting to translate national policies into concrete local development.

The Board established clear, critical action plans to directly address poverty alleviation, earthquake recovery, and climate adaptation across our region.

As Chairman of the Committee on Mindanao Affairs, my support to this development agenda is absolute. The Committee stands ready to champion the necessary legislation in Congress to guarantee these executive plans become reality.

For us Misamisnons, this is more than just the visit of a distinguished Church leader, it is a moment of grace that our children and grandchildren will one day read about in our history.

The presence of His Excellency Most Rev. Charles John Brown, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines and personal representative of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, reminds us that even our humble corner of the country is seen, remembered, and embraced by the Universal Church.

Ang episcopal coronation sa Mahal na Birhen sa Cotta is not merely a ceremony, it is the Church’s recognition of a faith that has been faithfully lived by generations of Misamisnons. Dili lang kini kadungganan sa atong probinsya, kini usa ka pagpamatuod nga ang atong pagtuo, pag-ampo, ug pagsalig sa Mahal na Birhen adunay dakong bili sa Simbahan.

As one people, may this sacred occasion renew our hearts, deepen our faith, and remind us that our greatest strength has never been our wealth or achievements, but our unwavering trust in God, our love for the Blessed Mother, and the unity that continues to define the true Misamisnon spirit.
