For us Misamisnons, this is more than just the visit of a distinguished Church leader, it is a moment of grace that our children and grandchildren will one day read about in our history.
The presence of His Excellency Most Rev. Charles John Brown, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines and personal representative of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, reminds us that even our humble corner of the country is seen, remembered, and embraced by the Universal Church.
Ang episcopal coronation sa Mahal na Birhen sa Cotta is not merely a ceremony, it is the Church’s recognition of a faith that has been faithfully lived by generations of Misamisnons. Dili lang kini kadungganan sa atong probinsya, kini usa ka pagpamatuod nga ang atong pagtuo, pag-ampo, ug pagsalig sa Mahal na Birhen adunay dakong bili sa Simbahan.
As one people, may this sacred occasion renew our hearts, deepen our faith, and remind us that our greatest strength has never been our wealth or achievements, but our unwavering trust in God, our love for the Blessed Mother, and the unity that continues to define the true Misamisnon spirit.
