CADET ATTACHMENT PROGRAM
PHASE 3 - MARCH 20, 2024 (DAY 7)
STATION 2 - Luna City Police Station
On March 20, 2024 PNP personnel of the Luna City Police Station established defensive positions and executed a comprehensive camp defense strategy in response to the red alert status announced by the Provincial Director of Cavite. This strategy was essential in pinpointing and assessing potential risks and weaknesses within the camp's infrastructure and operations. By understanding these risks, the cadets were able to implement preventative measures, significantly reducing the chances of injuries, property damage, and breaches in security.
A key insight from developing the camp defense plan was the critical importance of coordination and effective communication with adjacent units. This ensures a cohesive and efficient response to any security threats, facilitated by well-defined communication channels, command hierarchies, and collaboration protocols.
The primary goal of Luna CPS's Camp Defense Plan is to protect the Police Station and other crucial facilities from potential hostile actions, covering all possible approaches by an aggressor. A vital component of this strategy involves assigning Luna City Police personnel to manage the defense of the perimeter, ensuring that key locations remain under vigilant surveillance by alert teams or guards until the full deployment of personnel within the camp is achieved. This proactive defense mechanism significantly enhances the station's security measures, demonstrating a strong commitment to the protection of both personnel and valuable assets.
