Please be informed that the National Emergency Hotline (911) is now fully ACTIVATED and operational in our municipality.

In our continuous effort to provide faster, more efficient, and well-coordinated emergency response services, the Silago Fire Station is now linked to the national 911 dispatch system.

One Number for All Emergencies: You can now dial 911 for fire, medical, rescue, and police assistance.
Direct Coordination: Your calls will be routed to emergency dispatchers who will immediately alert the Silago Fire Station and other local first responders.

Use Responsibly: Please use 911 ONLY for actual emergencies (fires, severe accidents, medical crises, disasters).
Prank Calls are Illegal: Making prank, hoax, or non-emergency calls to 911 congests the lines and delays help for people in life-threatening situations. Penalties will be strictly enforced.

1. The Exit Access This is the very first stretch. It includes the hallways, aisles, and corridors you walk through to reach an actual exit.

2. The Exit This is the protected safe zone. It’s typically a fire-rated stairwell or designated enclosure designed to completely separate you from fire and smoke.

3. The Exit Discharge The final stretch! This is the path that takes you from the end of the exit safely out into a public street, courtyard, or open space.

In observance of the Lenten Season, personnel of the Silago Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Joel B Balugo, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, actively participated in providing public assistance to travelers, Drivers and commuters within the municipality.

As part of our commitment to public safety, our team conducted:

Health Monitoring: Free Blood Pressure (BP) monitoring for Drivers and travelers to ensure they are fit for the road.

Information Drive: Distribution of Fire Safety leaflets containing essential tips to prevent fire incidents while homes are left unattended during the long weekend.

𝐘𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 was an active day for our team as we visited Hingatungan Elementary School for a Fire Safety Lecture and Drill!

Led by our OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal SFO3 Joel B Balugo, the Silago Fire Station team worked closely with the energetic students and dedicated teachers of Hingatungan ES. Our goal? To turn "What if?" into "I know what to do!"

Through hands-on demonstrations and safety lectures, we are instilling the values of alertness in our future leaders. Thank you to the school administration for the warm welcome and active participation!

The Silago Fire Station was buzzing with creativity and color today as we hosted our Poster Making Contest! Students from across the municipality traded their textbooks for paintbrushes to showcase their vision of a resilient community.

Under the leadership of SFO3 Joel B Balugo, our station is proud to witness the incredible talent and safety consciousness of our local youth ,with our participating schools from Katipunan Elementary School,Mercedes National Highschool and Hingatungan National Highschool.

The Silago Fire Station, led by SFO3 Joel B. Balugo, actively participated in the Women’s Month Celebration organized by the MSWDO Silago, in coordination with LGU Silago, PNP Silago, and MDDRMO Silago.

Our personnel provided practical firefighting demonstrations to the attendees, focusing on the Bucket Relay, Blanketing method, and the correct operation of fire extinguishers. This collaborative effort aims to equip the women of our municipality with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively during fire emergencies.

We congratulate all the participants for a successful and productive session!
