Sierra Bullones, Bohol through the unwavering efforts of the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) in constant coordination with the Municipal Center for Drug Education and Counseling (MCEDEC), proudly brings home not just one but TWO MAJOR REGIONAL AWARDS from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region VII held today, November 21, 2025 at IEC Convention Center Cebu (IC3), Cebu City.
🏆 Champion in Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP), and
🏆 Champion in Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP)
These recognitions reaffirm Sierra Bullones’ deep commitment, sustained dedication, and strong leadership in building a safer, healthier, and drug-resilient community. The awards were received by the Mayor’s Representative Mr. Seriakus Epitacio B. Doria, MADAC Focal and MCEDEC Action Officer Mr. Earl Junrey B. Malubay, RN, and Municipal Health Officer Dr. Airiene Vanessa T. Sumaljag-Dormido.
These achievements reflect years of hard work, collaboration, and the municipality’s consistent pursuit of excellence in drug prevention, education, rehabilitation, and workplace safety. They are a testament to Sierra Bullones’ dedication to ensuring that every home, every barangay, and every workplace remains a safe environment—free from the harms of illegal drugs.
We extend our profound gratitude to Atty. Michael I. Doria, JD, our Local Chief Executive and MADAC Chairman, whose leadership and strategic direction anchored the success of all our anti-drug programs. His steadfast commitment continues to elevate Sierra Bullones as a provincial and regional model of drug demand reduction efforts.
Our heartfelt thanks to PCPT Roel S Tanza, Chief of Sierra Bullones Police Station and MADAC Vice Chairman, for the strong enforcement support and consistent partnership in ensuring peace, order, and public safety.
Special recognition is given to Mr. Earl Junrey Malubay, RN, MADAC and MCEDEC Action Officer, whose dedication, passion, and hands-on work significantly contributed to achieving these remarkable milestones for the municipality.
We extend our appreciation to the Sangguniang Bayan, headed by Hon. Jose Fredie M. Buslon, Municipal Vice Mayor, for the continuing legislative support to MADAC and MCEDEC programs.
Our sincere thanks to DILG MLGOO Ms. Cindy Garrote for her guidance in strengthening the functionality of MADAC and the barangay anti-drug structures.
We also acknowledge the invaluable contribution of the Rhu Sierra Bullones, headed by Dr. Airiene Vanessa T. Sumaljag-Dormido, whose dedication to screening, assessment, and medical support remains vital to the success of the municipality’s CBDRP.
Our appreciation extends to the Provincial Center for Drug Education and Counseling (PCEDEC), headed by Dr. Greg Julius D. Sodusta V, for the continuous technical assistance, mentoring, and program guidance that strengthened our CBDRP and workplace initiatives.
