The simulation aimed to enhance the personnel's knowledge, skills, and coordination in safely disconnecting power sources, rescuing electrocution victims, providing immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and burn care, and ensuring the efficient transport of patients during electrical emergency incidents. Such exercises strengthen operational readiness and reinforce the station's commitment to delivering prompt, professional, and life-saving emergency response services.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is an essential life-saving skill that every student should learn. It teaches students how to recognize an emergency, call for help and perform CPR. Learning BLS helps students stay calm, respond quickly, and provide immediate assistance while waiting for emergency responders. These skills can make a difference and may help save a life during a cardiac arrest or other medical emergency.

Furthermore, the activity serves as a venue for the Sibalom Fire Station to promote life saving awareness and provide fire prevention education to the Teachers and students. Through this initiative, the BFP continues to strengthen its partnership with the community and help ensure a safer and more prepared municipality.

Sibalom Fire Station personnel, headed by SFO3 Alfredo N Ortiaga Jr, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, under the supervision of ๐…๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐•๐„๐๐‚๐ˆ๐„ ๐‰๐Ž๐‰๐Ž ๐ ๐€๐‹๐ƒ๐„๐†๐”๐„๐‘, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, in support of the leadership of ๐…๐‚๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐„๐ƒ๐–๐ˆ๐ ๐ ๐•๐€๐‘๐†๐€๐’, ๐ƒ๐’๐‚, Regional Director, BFP Region 6, and under the guidance of ๐…๐‚๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐–๐ˆ๐‹๐๐„๐‘๐“๐Ž ๐‘๐ˆ๐‚๐Ž ๐๐„๐ˆ๐‹ ๐€ ๐Š๐–๐€๐ ๐“๐ˆ๐”, DSC, Officer-in-Charge, Bureau of Fire Protection, conducted a Skills Inventory/Refresher Program on Firetruck Familiarization to further strengthen their firefighting capabilities and emergency response efficiency.

The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge, competence, and practical skills of personnel in operating and navigating apparatus and onboard equipment, ensuring their preparedness to provide safe, efficient, and effective emergency response during fire incidents and other emergencies.
