In celebration of the 124th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, the Civil Service Commission Antique Field Office (CSC FO-Antique) in collaboration with the University of Antique (UA) and Council of Human Resource Management Practitioners of Antique, Inc (CHRMPA) lend a hand through the conduct of the Medical-Dental Mission and Bloodletting Activity on September 26, 2024 at the University of Antique Covered Court.

The activity is a representation of a shared commitment in making every civil servant a servant hero in providing an opportunity for volunteerism and collaboration, an avenue for the University of Antique in instilling utmost responsibility in upholding public interest in public service and a solid ex*****on of its mission to transform lives, and build communities.

Beneficiaries of the Medical-Dental Mission are from Brgy. Alangan, Bongsed, Cubay Napultan, Bari, Iglanot, Pangpang, Catungan 1st and Rombang, while blood donors are students and faculty from the College of Maritime Studies (CMS) and College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE).

The success of the activity was achieved through the collaboration of CSC FO-Antique, UA community, CHRMPA, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Antique Chapter, Antique Medical Society, Antique Provincial Health Office, Sibalom Municipal Health Office, and the Health Units of the University of Antique Main Campus and Hamtic Campus.

In support of the noble cause of taking care of the planet and recognizing departed lingkod bayanis, the Human Resource Unit and Student Government of the University of Antique joined the Tree Growing for a Cause activity with the theme: "Malasakit sa Kalikasan, Malasakit sa Lingkod Bayan" at Sitio Catwayan, Poblacion, Patnongon, Antique, on September 19, 2024.

This activity is part of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) and was spearheaded by the Civil Service Commission Field Office - Antique (CSC FO-Antique) in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Antique, the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office of the Provincial Government of Antique, and the Municipal Government of Patnongon, Antique.

The celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary in the province of Antique dubbed as "Bukal, Inggat, Dalagan Antique” was indeed a resounding success and a testament of Hellen Keller's inspiring quote, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

Bukal, Inggat, Dalagan Antique is a kickoff activity for the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary in the Province of Antique and is likewise an avenue where the University can strengthen its commitment to fight drug use and illegal drug prolification, promote wellness and well-being of students, employees and the general public and strengthen camaraderie among government workers and linkage with partner agencies stakeholders and the community as a whole.

This event wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of the Civil Service Commission Field Office- Antique, University of Antique, Council of Human Resource Practitioners of Antique, Inc., partner agencies and the general public.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and expertise. Your dedication, participation and hard work truly made all the difference. The success of this event is also your success.
