In celebration of the 2026 Women’s Month, the Municipality of Sergio Osmeña warmly invites everyone to take part in a series of meaningful and exciting activities that highlight the strength, talents, and contributions of women in our community.

📅 Schedule of Activities:

🔹 March 23–24, 2026 (Monday–Tuesday)
🏓 Pickle Babe: Doubles Blind Draw Pickleball Tournament
🕔 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
📍 Hosted by Pickleball Osmeña
👩‍🦰 Open to 18 years old and above
💰 Registration: ₱100 per player (3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, March 23)

Empowering women this Women’s Month through faith, fitness, and friendship. A pickleball event where the goal is to have fun, connect, and uplift one another. Serving confidence and dinking for women’s empowerment! 💗✨

To show our unity in celebrating 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉, all interested participants are encouraged to wear Purple or Pink on tournament day— the official color of Women’s Month that symbolizes justice, dignity, and women’s empowerment.💜💖

The Municipality of Sergio Osmeña proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month 2026 with the theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.”

This celebration recognizes the important role of women in building stronger communities and highlights the continuous efforts to promote gender equality, respect, and inclusivity in our society. Through our Gender and Development (GAD) programs, the municipality remains committed to empowering women and ensuring equal opportunities for all.

In line with this celebration, various activities and programs are being prepared throughout the month of March. The official schedules of the upcoming events will be posted soon on this page, so stay tuned and join us as we celebrate and honor the contributions of women in our community.

Together, let us continue working towards a more inclusive, equal, and empowered Sergio Osmeña.

Gipakita gyud sa mga Osmeñanon ang ilang bililhong talento sa KULAY NG PAGKAPANTAY: GAD Art Exhibit (Painting Contest)!

Pinaagi sa mga kolor ug pinintal nga obra, atong mga artists sa lungsod nagpahayag sa ilang kaalam ug kadasig, nga nagdala og mensahe sa kaangayan ug pag-empower sa tanan. Tinuod gyud - Osmeñan Rocks!

Dako kaayong pasalamat sa atong masinabtanon nga mga organizers, mga maanyag ug makapadasig nga speakers, mga sakop sa GFPS, ug sa tanang mitampo aron mahimong madaugon ang maong kalihokan. Most especially, dakong pasalamat sa atong pinalanggang Mayor Glen N. Yu sa iyang walay puas nga suporta ug panan-aw nga positibo alang ani nga kalihukan.

Ug kini mao ra ang sinugdanan - padayon ta sa pagpintal sa atong komunidad pinaagi sa pagkahiusa, kalampusan ug garbo. Magtinabangay ta aron mas modan-ag pa ang Osmeña!

Ang mosunod mao ang mga contestants para sa KULAY NG PAGKAPANTAY: GAD ART EXHIBIT (PAINTING CONTEST). Ang matag usa kanila adunay katugbang nga numero. Palihug paggiya niini. Kita-kita ta ugma, Agosto 23, 2025, alas 8:00 sa buntag sa Municipal Gymnasium. Palihug moanhi sa dili pa alas 8:00 sa buntag.

Magkahiusa kita sa paglambo sa arte ug pagkakapantay. Nos vemos! ✨

📢 GAD ADVOCACY MONTH ANNOUNCEMENT 🎨

Usa sa mga kalihokan sa GAD Advocacy Month mao ang "KULAY NG PAGKAPANTAY: GAD ART EXHIBIT (PAINTING CONTEST)" diin adunay usa (1) ka representante matag barangay.

Gipanghatag na ang mga sulat sa pagpahibalo sa matag barangay. Palihog ipasa ang kompirmasyon sa inyong representante pinaagi sa pag-text sa 09319184369 o pag-message sa official pages: https://www.facebook.com/share/1EgJc5UHAr/ ug https://www.facebook.com/share/1ALc5DneGe/
