🌟HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK🌟

This week, the Office actively facilitated and participated in key activities in support of effective governance, community engagement, and public service delivery:

• Conducted the MOVE (Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere) Meeting, where possible livelihood programs and activities were discussed to further empower members and support community development, while reinforcing advocacy for gender equality and the prevention of violence against women and children.

• Conducted the 1st Quarter Meeting and Reorganization of the Community Radio Council, strengthening communication and information dissemination in the community.

• Participated in a Committee Meeting at the Sangguniang Bayan, contributing to the review and alignment of local policies and programs.

• Attended the Harmonized Gender and Development (GAD) Guidelines Seminar-Workshop, reaffirming the Municipality’s commitment to gender-responsive and inclusive governance.

• Facilitated the Public Hearing on Proposed Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-01, on the Temporary Relocation of Authorized Vendors of the Sariaya Public Market, ensuring transparency and stakeholder participation.

• Conducted various coordination meetings with concerned offices and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration.

• Continued the delivery of efficient and responsive services to clients, ensuring timely and quality public service.

🌟Highlights of the Week🌟

This week featured productive meetings and meaningful activities focused on community development, education, governance, and women’s empowerment. Various initiatives were conducted in partnership with stakeholders, educators, community leaders, and local officials to support the continued progress of the Municipality of Sariaya.

A coordination meeting was held with representatives from Asian Vision to discuss service coordination, community connectivity, and potential collaborative initiatives to enhance communication services in the municipality.

Stakeholders convened to review the Manual of Operations of the Sariaya Agricultural Trading Center Facility (SATCF) to ensure efficient operations and improved services for farmers, traders, and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

Students from St. Francis High School presented and defended their Community Advocacy Action Research projects, highlighting youth involvement in addressing community concerns through research and advocacy.

The municipality celebrated National Women’s Month through activities recognizing the leadership and contributions of women. Highlights included the Women’s Month Sportsfest, which promoted camaraderie and wellness, and the Search for Huwarang Ginang Sariayahin 2026, honoring exemplary women in the community.

The Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) and the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) held their 1st Quarter Joint Meeting to discuss programs and strategies that strengthen peace and order, anti-drug initiatives, and community safety.

A Sangguniang Bayan Committee Meeting was conducted to deliberate key local concerns, policy matters, and initiatives supporting governance and public service.

Participation as a resource speaker during the Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session at Sariaya East Central Main Elementary School was also conducted as part of their Women’s Month Celebration, sharing insights on women empowerment and leadership.

Additional meetings and coordination activities were conducted throughout the week to support ongoing programs and strengthen partnerships for municipal development.

🌟Highlights of the Week🌟

📌Participation in Various Meetings
Office of the Municipal Administrator actively participated in several coordination and planning meetings during the week. These engagements aimed to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, ensure alignment of local programs with national and regional priorities, and support the effective implementation of municipal plans and services.

📌Led the MGADFPS GAD Planning and Budgeting for CY 2027 as MGAD Focal Person, focusing on the formulation of gender-responsive programs and compliance with GAD policies and guidelines.

📌Attended the 1st Quarter Fisheries Management Area (FMA) 12 Board Meeting held at the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Regional Office, representing Marivic Gayeta, Municipal Mayor of Sariaya and Co-Chairperson.

📌Doc Jayson Rivera attended the Launching of the GAMOT App as the duly authorized representative of Randy L. Tronila, Municipal Administrator. The activity highlighted the utilization of digital health innovations aimed at improving access to medical information and services.
