Donning and Doffing of FullPPE with SCBA
Duty personnel of BFP Sto Niño, under the supervision of SFO4 Marlon A Piñera, Officer-in-Charge, conducted a Donning of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) proficiency training.
Regular training on the proper use of PPE and SCBA enhances firefighters' competence, minimizes operational risks, and reinforces strict adherence to established safety protocols. Through continuous drills and practical exercises, BFP Sto. Niño remains steadfast in maintaining a highly prepared, disciplined, and professional firefighting force dedicated to protecting lives, property, and the environment.

Duty personnel of BFP Sto. Niño Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO4 Marlon A Piñera, Officer-In-Charge, conducted a Fire Safety Lecture as part of the Patrol and Crew Leaders Training Course.

The lecture focused on essential fire prevention and safety practices, emergency preparedness, and proper response to fire emergencies. Participants were also taught the importance, proper handling, and safe use of fire extinguishers, particularly in controlling small fires during their early stages.

Meanwhile, BFP personnel also served as standby medics to provide immediate first aid and medical assistance to participants, ensuring their safety throughout the training.

BFP Sto. Niño, under the leadership of SFO4 Marlon A Piñera, Officer-In-Charge, participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Patrol and Crew Leaders Training Course organized through the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP).

The training course aims to develop and strengthen the participants’ leadership, discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and preparedness, equipping them with valuable skills and knowledge essential for becoming responsible and capable leaders in their communities.

PROMOTING FIRE SAFETY THROUGH A BUSINESS-FRIENDLY JOINT INSPECTION

In support of a safe, compliant, and business-friendly community, BFP Sto. Niño, under the leadership of SFO4 Marlon A Piñera, Officer-In-Charge, participated in a Business-Friendly Joint Inspection in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sto. Niño.

The joint inspection covered business establishments within our Area of Responsibility, with the aim of promoting compliance with fire safety standards, identifying potential fire hazards, and ensuring that establishments maintain a safe environment for their employees, customers, and the general public.

This collaborative effort highlights the commitment of the BFP Sto. Niño and LGU Sto. Niño to fostering a business-friendly environment while ensuring fire safety, public safety, and the protection of lives and property.
