The Local Government Unit (LGU), through its Municipal Health Office (MHO) and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), provided round-the-clock operations to ensure that pilgrims, tourists, visitors, and Ritenians are given proper assistance during the Semana Santa holidays, which started on Holy Thursday, as instructed by Mayor Reynan Calo.
LGU personnel on duty were also joined by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Santa Rita Police Station and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Santa Rita Fire Station.
First aid stations were set up in the two parishes, while ambulances were deployed in key areas of worship and devotion. Rural Health Unit personnel provided immediate medical assistance, such as blood pressure checks.
Cleanliness and orderliness of public spaces are continuously being maintained through regular flushing and sweeping, through the efforts of the General Utility Services Group, the Materials Recovery Facilities Group, and the Mayorโs Office Support Group (MOSG).
Market operations are also being monitored by the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, the Market Supervisor, and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) โ Santa Rita.
All concerned LGU personnel shall remain on high alert until Easter Sunday.
