𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦

During the recent flooding in Santa Rita, support came from individuals, groups, organizations, and partners who extended assistance to families affected by the disaster.

Meals, food packs and relief goods, hygiene kits, sleeping kits, bottled water, and other essential supplies were shared with those in evacuation centers and with others directly affected by the flooding.

The Municipal Government of Santa Rita extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who responded and shared what they could during a difficult time.

This spirit of bayanihan—people coming together to help one another—is what continues to build Bayung Santa Rita.

𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀

The Santa Rita Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) convened yesterday, led by Mayor Reynan S. Calo, to assess the Municipality's current situation following the recent weather disturbances and flooding.

The meeting brought together barangay captains and heads of various municipal departments, with discussions covering the latest weather updates, the current condition of Sapang Maragul Creek, situational reports from the barangays, and the status of affected areas and population.

The Council also discussed the Municipality's preparedness and response measures, reports from other LDRRMC members, and other concerns related to disaster preparedness and response.

The meeting allows the Municipality and its response teams to review current conditions, and remain prepared for possible changes in the weather in the coming days.

The Municipal Government of Santa Rita mourns the passing of 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗼 𝗖. 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗼, who served as Vice Mayor of the Municipality from 2009 to 2019 and as a member of the Sangguniang Bayan for 18 years.

His years of service and contributions to the Municipality are remembered and honored.

Our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.
