Ang paggawa ng online threats laban sa mga estudyante, paaralan, g**o, o sinumang tao sa pamamagitan ng social media, chat, text, email, o iba pang online platforms ay HINDI BIRO. Ito ay maaaring magresulta sa kasong kriminal at iba pang kaparusahan ayon sa umiiral na batas.

📌 Tandaan: Kahit ang gumawa ng banta ay menor de edad o nasa legal na edad, maaari pa rin siyang managot sa ilalim ng batas.

Paalala sa mga Magulang at Tagapag-alaga:
✔️ Bantayan ang online activities ng inyong mga anak.
✔️ Turuan silang gumamit ng social media nang may paggalang at pananagutan.
✔️ Ipaliwanag na ang pagbabanta, pananakot, at cyberbullying ay may seryosong legal na konsekuwensya.
✔️ Hikayatin silang maging responsable sa bawat post, komento, at mensaheng ipinapadala.

🚫 Human Trafficking is a Crime. Silence is Complicity.
Every person deserves to live with freedom, dignity, and safety.
Republic Act No. 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003) was enacted to protect individuals—especially women and children—from all forms of human trafficking. It criminalises the recruitment, transportation, harbouring, or receipt of persons for exploitation through force, fraud, coercion, or abuse of vulnerability.
✨ Know the law. Recognise the signs. Report suspected trafficking. Protect lives.
Together, we can build communities where exploitation has no place and every person is treated with respect and compassion.

CHILDREN DESERVE GUIDANCE, PROTECTION, AND A SECOND CHANCE

Under Republic Act No. 9344, also known as the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act, the Philippines recognizes that children in conflict with the law should be guided through rehabilitation and reintegration—not simply punished.

📌 Know the law:
✅ Children 15 years old and below are generally exempt from criminal liability.
⚖️ Children above 15 but below 18 years old may be held criminally liable only if they acted with discernment.

The Pampanga State University School of Law, in cooperation with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Pampanga Chapter, will conduct 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗡 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺, Brgy. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will also be present to conduct National ID Registration services for interested applicants.

This activity aims to provide accessible legal consultation, notarial services, and assistance with civil registry concerns for the benefit of all Ritenians. Clients and interested participants are encouraged to visit and avail of the free services.

The 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women was successfully conducted on November 28, 2025, headed by Ms. Jacqueline F. Quiambao, MSWDO, together with the MSWDO staff and Barangay VAW Desk Officers.

Ms. Marjorie Y. Garcia, Project Development Officer II under the 4Ps Program of the DSWD, served as the guest speaker and discussed important laws protecting women and children, including RA 9262, RA 7610, RA 11313, RA 8353, RA 9208/10364, and RA 11930.

Participants from various sectors—solo parents, BHWs, barangay tanods, municipal employees, and BFP personnel—actively took part in strengthening awareness and commitment to end violence in all its forms. This also featured a Zumba session and a raffle for a cause in support of VAWC, child abuse, and r**e victims.

Special thanks to Mayor Reynan S. Calo for his continued support in promoting a safer and violence-free community.
