𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗠𝗢 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆

Personnel of the 8th Civil-Military Operations (Dangpanan) Battalion actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony held at Anibong Elementary School, Brgy. 93 Bagacay, Tacloban City, carrying the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman.”

The activity was led by School Principal Arnold B. Vicentillo in partnership with the teachers, parents, and the New Breed Guardians Brotherhood Incorporated. Battalion personnel joined various school preparation activities, including the cleaning, repair, and improvement of school facilities in preparation for the opening of classes.

As part of its information and education campaign, the battalion also distributed leaflets on the Stages of CPP-NPA-NDF Recruitment to raise awareness in the community on the terrorist groups deception and ill effects.

The successful Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security Condition (SIPSC) marks a historic milestone in strengthening unity, public safety, and sustainable development in the Municipality. Through the collective efforts of the local government, security sector, partner agencies, and the community, Sta. Rita continues to move forward with peace and progress at its core.

The Municipality of Sta. Rita officially marked a significant milestone in its pursuit of lasting peace and sustainable development through the Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security Condition (SIPSC) held on May 25, 2026 at the town gymnasium.

The activity was attended by key officials and stakeholders led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Jascha Mae R. Tiu, Major General Peter B. Burgonio, Commander of the 8th Infantry Division, Brigadier General Pompeyo Jason M. Almagro, Commander of the 802nd Infantry Brigade, Board Member Engr Jade Kie R. Tiu, representing Samar Governor Sharee Ann T. Tan, Provincial Director Judy L. Batulan of DILG Samar, Police Colonel Arwin M. Tadeo, Provincial Director of PNP Samar, together with other representatives from the Provincial Government of Samar, national agencies, and local officials who expressed their strong support for the municipality’s peace and development initiatives.

The declaration represents the collective commitment of the local government, security sector, partner agencies, and the community to preserve peace, strengthen public safety, and sustain progress. The activity gathered various stakeholders in a unified show of support for peacebuilding initiatives and good governance.

Highlights of the ceremony were the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and the Pledge of Commitment, signifying the continued dedication of everyone to uphold peace and security in Sta. Rita. A dove letting activity was also conducted as a symbol of hope, harmony, and a brighter future for the people.

Disiplina, pamumuno, at pagmamahal sa bayan ang tampok sa RAATI 2026 na ginanap sa Burauen Community College ROTC.

Sa bawat hakbang, ipinakita ng mga ROTC cadets ang kahandaan nilang maging responsableng kabataan at katuwang sa pagpapaunlad ng komunidad at bansa.

Ang RAATI 2026 ay hindi lamang inspeksyon—ito ay patunay na ang kabataan ang susi sa mas matatag, mapayapa, at maunlad na kinabukasan.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa, pagtutulungan, at pagmamalasakit sa komunidad, matagumpay na nagsagawa ng clean-up drive ang kasundaluhan ng 8th CMO "Dangpanan" Battalion kasama ang Dangpanan Youth at mga residente ng So. Cantaba.

Hindi lamang ito simpleng paglilinis—ito ay pagpapakita ng disiplina, pakikiisa, at pagmamahal sa kalikasan. Sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan ng ating kapaligiran, nakakatulong tayo sa paglikha ng mas ligtas, mas maayos, at mas malusog na pamayanan para sa lahat.

𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗥𝗔𝗔𝗧𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗨𝗘𝗡

Burauen Community College ROTC became a venue of discipline, leadership, and patriotism during the conduct of the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 held on May 21, 2026.

Representing the RAATI Chairman, Colonel Ronald M. Illana, was Colonel Ernesto R. Dela Rosa Jr., Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, G8, 8th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, who led the inspection and inspired ROTC cadets to continue becoming responsible and service-oriented young leaders.

The activity assessed the administrative and tactical preparedness of the ROTC unit while strengthening the values of teamwork, discipline, and civic responsibility among the youth.

RAATI 2026 served as a reminder that the youth play a vital role in nation-building and in promoting peace and development within their communities.

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

Personnel from the 805th Community Defense Center (CDC) led by Lt. Col. Arturo Dumalagan together with the 1st CMO “Sangkay” Company, 8CMOBn, CMOR, PA joined the two-day Southern Leyte Provincial Caravan conducted in Brgy. Himbangan, St. Bernard on May 19, 2026 and Brgy. Cawayan, Libagon on May 21, 2026.

The activity delivered various humanitarian services including medical and dental missions, circumcision program, relief distribution, and cash assistance for CAFGU Active Auxiliary personnel through the support of respective Municipal Government Office.

Conducted in coordination with LGUs and partner agencies, the caravan highlighted unity and cooperation in bringing government services closer to the people while strengthening community relations and public service efforts.

In a shared commitment to community development and social responsibility, personnel of the 93rd Infantry Battalion and 3rd Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Company joined a Community Outreach Program spearheaded by the Bugho Elementary School Alumni Association, in partnership with the Junior Chamber International Alang-Alang Chapter under the leadership of School Principal Shernan Carlos Y. Apurillo.

The activity brought together volunteers, civic organizations, and government stakeholders in a collaborative effort to deliver essential health services and promote meaningful engagement with the local community.

Beyond providing assistance and support activities, the outreach program served as a venue for fostering cooperation and reinforcing strong community ties. It highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing local needs and advancing the welfare of the people.
