Today, a total of 8 would-be couples successfully participated in the Pre-Marriage Orientation and Counseling (PMOC). The activity was facilitated by the PMOC Team and was headed by POPCOM Designate, Ms. Lynn Gamorot. The session focused on preparing couples for married life through discussions on responsible parenthood, family planning, effective communication, financial management, and the legal aspects of marriage. The interactive format allowed the couples to share insights and reflect on their roles and responsibilities as future husband and wife.

The activity also served as part of the accreditation process for PMOC counselors. To observe and ensure the quality of the facilitation, representatives from the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) XI were present during the session. Their presence highlighted the importance of maintaining standards in delivering PMOC services. The activity concluded successfully, with the couples expressing gratitude for the guidance received and the observers commending the team for a well-conducted orientation. This reflects the continued commitment to strengthen families and promote responsible parenthood in the community.

The event highlighted the importance of promoting and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs) while encouraging stronger policies and programs that foster equal opportunities and inclusive development.

The program included a meaningful discussion by the resource speaker Atty. Bon Cyrell Plazos. The speaker shared valuable knowledge and useful information that help participants learn and better understand their rights as PWDs. The PWDs presented their talents, abilities during the contest.

Maria, Davao Occidental noong Hulyo 28-30, 2026, kundi pati na rin ang panibagong pag-asa at inspirasyon para sa kanilang mga pamilya. Ipinahayag ng mga benepisyaryo ang kanilang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa natanggap na ayuda, na inaasahang makatutulong sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan sa gitna ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin.
