Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 126 of the Office of the President, and in view of the continuous heavy rainfall affecting the Province, the Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL) shall adopt a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement as an alternative work arrangement today, 14 August 2026, subject to the exigencies of the service.
Department/Office Heads and Administrative Officers are hereby instructed to identify and assign appropriate tasks and deliverables to personnel under the WFH arrangement and ensure the timely accomplishment thereof. Online reporting, communication, and coordination shall be maintained to ensure continuity of government operations, proper monitoring of personnel, and prompt response to official concerns and directives.
Offices and personnel involved in the delivery of basic and frontline services, disaster preparedness and response, emergency operations, and other vital and essential services are directed to continue operations and render the necessary services, subject to appropriate safety measures and operational arrangements.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 14
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 126, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 14, 2026:

๐ Bataan
๐ Bulacan
๐ Pampanga
๐ Tarlac
๐ Nueva Ecija
๐ Cavite
๐ Batangas
๐ Rizal
๐ Laguna
๐ Quezon
๐ Occidental Mindoro
Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall likewise be implemented in these areas.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.
The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
