All classes shall implement 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, S. 2026, from the Office of the President, Malacañang.

The suspension of in-person classes has been declared in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

: Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures for all levels in public and private schools will be implemented today, September 4, 2026, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134.

The measure covers:

National Capital Region (NCR)
Ilocos Norte
Ilocos Sur
La Union
Pangasinan
Abra
Benguet
Zambales
Bataan
Bulacan
Tarlac
Pampanga
Cavite
Laguna
Batangas
Occidental Mindoro

Meanwhile, local chief executives in other areas may direct the cancellation or suspension of classes in their respective areas, pursuant to relevant laws, rules, and regulations.

‎As announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Laguna State Polytechnic University–Sta. Cruz Campus (LSPU–SCC) attained an overall passing rate of 23.53% in the August 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), after four examinees successfully earned their licenses, September 1.
‎
‎The figure consists of two out of 11 first-time examinees and two out of six retakers.
‎
‎Nationwide, the PRC recorded a 57.57% passing rate, with 16,952 out of 29,447 examinees successfully obtaining their criminologist licenses in the August ’26 CLE.

As of 2:00 PM today, 2 September 2026, Tropical Storm "PILANDOK" is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm “SAUDEL” (formerly OBET) and LPA 08m are being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR. LPA 08m has a "LOW" chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
