Sta. Cruz, Laguna --- The Provincial Government of Laguna, through the Provincial Treasury Office, held a Special Meeting of all City and Municipal Treasurers on October 29, 2025, at the Governor's Office Conference Room, Provincial Capitol, Sta. Cruz.

The event was graced by 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐌. 𝐕𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳, Provincial Administrator, who represented 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥 𝐂. 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐨, and 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐮 𝐐. 𝐂𝐚ñ𝐞𝐭𝐞, OIC-Regional Director of the 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐁𝐋𝐆𝐅) 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐕-𝐀. Both officials delivered inspiring messages emphasizing the crucial role of local treasurers in upholding fiscal discipline and ensuring efficient revenue management across the province.

The event featured the awarding of Certificates of Recognition to top-performing LGUs that exceeded BLGF targets for Real Property Tax, Business Tax, Fees & Charges, and Economic Enterprises for FY 2024.

In addition, a 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 was presented to the 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐥, 𝐏𝐚𝐞𝐭𝐞 & 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐚, in recognition of their years of exemplary service and steadfast commitment to public financial administration.
