The Local Economic and Investment Promotion Office (LEIPO) of La Union conducted a benchmarking visit to the Provincial Government of Laguna on September 29, 2026, to exchange insights and discuss best practices in local economic development and investment promotion.

The visit provided an opportunity for both offices to share experiences, programs, and strategies that support local enterprises, investment promotion, and economic development initiatives.

As part of the benchmarking activity, the La Union LEIPO delegation also visited the Likhang Laguna Concept Store, where they learned about the province’s initiative in promoting and providing market opportunities for local products and MSMEs.
The benchmarking visit highlights the value of inter-provincial collaboration and knowledge exchange in strengthening local economic development initiatives.

Likhang Laguna, through the Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), showcased a selection of proudly Laguna-made products during the 2026 Laguna Travel Mart, organized by the Association of Laguna Travel and Tour Operators (ALTTA) in partnership with Enchanted Kingdom, on September 29, 2026, at the Enchanting Events Place, Enchanted Kingdom, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna.

With the theme β€œConnecting Markets, Creating Experiences,” the event brought together travel agencies, tour operators, hospitality partners, and tourism stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and explore new market opportunities.

The participation of Likhang Laguna provided an avenue to promote Laguna’s local products and MSMEs to tourism industry stakeholders, highlighting the province’s rich craftsmanship, creativity, and local enterprise.

The Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) participated in the 2026 LGU Engagement on DOE Initiatives with the Province of Laguna held on September 17, 2026, at El Cielito Hotel, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The activity provided an avenue for LEDIPO representatives to learn about relevant Department of Energy (DOE) programs, policies, and initiatives, including the implementation of DOE-DILG-DPWH-ARTA JMC No. 2025-001, and to strengthen coordination on energy projects and investments.

Discussions also focused on identifying opportunities for collaboration that can support local economic development and investment promotion, while advancing energy security, efficiency, sustainability, and affordable electricity across Laguna.

On September 2, 2026, representatives from the Province of Laguna, through the Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), paid a courtesy call at the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of the province’s participation in Vitafoods Asia 2026.

The Laguna delegation met with Trade Counsellor Ms. Maria Emmanuelle S. Burgos, Vice Consul Susan Phoebe Sabado, and Minister and Deputy Head of Mission Jason Jovencio Anasarias to discuss opportunities for trade, investment, business networking, and market access for Laguna’s local enterprises.

The courtesy call provided an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and explore avenues for promoting Laguna’s MSMEs, local products, and investment opportunities in Thailand and the international market.

A coordination meeting was held on September 8, 2026, at the Governor’s Office among the Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), Laguna Tourism, Culture, Arts and Trade Office, Metrobank Foundation, Enchanted Kingdom, and the Schools Division Offices in Laguna to discuss preparations for the province-wide celebration of National Teachers’ Month.

The meeting focused on coordinating programs and activities and strengthening partnerships to ensure a meaningful celebration honoring the dedication and invaluable contributions of teachers across Laguna.

Through collaboration among the provincial government, private sector, and education stakeholders, the Province of Laguna continues to support initiatives that recognize and celebrate its teachers.

Likhang Laguna proudly takes part in Vitafoods Asia 2026, held from September 2–4, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, through the Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), in partnership with the ALAFOP Federation of the Philippines, Inc.

A highlight of the event was the personal visit of Governor Sol Aragones to the Likhang Laguna showcase, highlighting Laguna’s commitment to promoting its local products and creating opportunities for MSMEs to reach global markets.

The opening day brought together global nutraceutical leaders, ingredient suppliers, and industry innovators through networking activities, expert presentations, innovation tours, and specialized seminars highlighting emerging trends in health, nutrition, wellness, and product development.

The event provided an avenue for networking, collaboration, and business referrals, allowing LEDIPO to strengthen connections with private-sector stakeholders and explore opportunities to support the growth and development of Laguna MSMEs.
