On August 22–23, Santa Barbara Central Elementary School was successfully chosen as the venue for the conduct of Campus Journalism Training, with the active participation of learners and the leadership of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG).

The group was led by Yrl Francis “Miggy” D. Subade, SELG President, who guided fellow officers and learners in different categories of campus journalism in holding the placards and leading the participants to their respective venues.

The activity was further enriched by the support of SELG parents, whose encouragement and active involvement greatly contributed to the successful accomplishment of the SELG committee’s tasks as assigned by the program facilitator.

Several SELG officers also joined the training sessions, representing various categories and showing commitment to student leadership and campus press development.

Through this initiative, Santa Barbara Central Elementary School continues to empower learners with communication skills, critical thinking, and confidence, preparing them to become responsible storytellers and future leaders.

Congratulations, Migs! 👏👏👏👏

This June, we focus on the value of 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 It is not always easy to wake up early, study every day, or stay focused, but self-discipline helps us reach our goals. It means doing what we need to do even when we do not feel like it. As students and teachers, we grow through small habits, good choices, and daily effort. Let us keep trying our best and support each other every day.

Remember, discipline is not about being perfect—it is about staying committed and never giving up.
