The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Region VI joined the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) CY 2026, on September 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM, held at the PCA Regional Office VI, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.

PCA Region VI personnel actively participated in the drill, practicing the proper โ€œDuck, Cover, and Holdโ€ procedure and other emergency response protocols. The activity served as a timely reminder that preparedness goes beyond implementing programs and projects, it also means ensuring the safety and well-being of the people who make them possible.

As we work to serve the coconut industry and our stakeholders, we also remain committed in keeping the personnel prepared, protected, and ready to respond when it matters most.

On August 28, 2026, the Philippine Coconut Authority-Guimaras successfully conducted the National Simultaneous Coconut Planting Activity at Galanto Farm in Brgy. Maabay, Sibunag, Guimaras. This local initiative was carried out in sync with nationwide planting activities highlighting the 40th National Coconut Week celebration.
