The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)–Southern Leyte Provincial Office invites you to a one-day training entitled:
“Orientation and Training on IP Application and Digital Marketing for Southern Leyte MSMEs”

This training aims to help MSMEs protect their businesses through Intellectual Property (IP) registration.

Ayon sa BMBE Act of 2002, ang mga registered Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) ay maaaring magpasahod ng emplayado nang mas mababa sa minimum wage.

Mga dapat tandaan:
- Kapag mayroon nang BMBE Certificate of Authority ang negosyo, automatically exempted na ito mula sa minimum wage law.
- Dapat pa ring makatanggap ang BMBE employee ng mga government-mandated benefits, tulad ng social security at health care benefits (e.g. PhilHealth, SSS, Pag-ibig, etc.)
- Ang minimum wage law exemption ay applicable lamang sa mga empleyadong na-hire pagkatapos mag-register ng negosyo bilang BMBE.

DTI-GCC Advisory

Good day to all who have signified their interest in the DTI-Google Career Certification.

As of April 7, 2024, a total of 271 from Southern Leyte have completed the Interest Signup Form. However, the list provided by the DTI E-Commerce Bureau to DTI Southern Leyte did not include their respective addressees. They mentioned that for now, they are only sharing information by province since the registration process is ongoing and only that data will be reflected. They can only share this information after April 19.

In our efforts to locate where the interested clients are situated, an email has been sent to your respective email addresses. We are requesting those who have completed the signup interest form to fill out another survey form to specify their address. As of today, a total of 87 out of the 271 have already responded.

We would like to request those who have not responded yet to check your respective emails and check for the link that was sent to you.

The DTI Southern Leyte Office through the different Negosyo Centers in the province would like to thank you for your continued support.

Rest assured, a separate email will be directly sent to your email address provided in the signup interest form by the designated Virtual Campus Administrator (for Samar and Southern Leyte) once the administrator's account is verified

GOOGLE CAREER CERTIFICATION ADVISORY

To all Clients from Southern Leyte who signified interest for the Google Career Certification, we are grateful for the overwhelming response. Take note that the form you accomplished is just an Interest Signup Form and subject to evaluation and validation.

Please be advised that the Google Virtual Campus Administrator (VCA) Account for the Provinces of Samar and Southern Leyte are still for verification and approval by Google. Once it is approved, VCAs will email qualified learners informing them of their status and providing them with a copy of the Commitment of Undertaking (COU) to complete the enrollment process.

Southern Leyte is allocated with 250 slots, only the top 250 applicants will be given priority.

For those who have already accomplished the Interest Signup Form, you will just have to wait for the email from the VCA and instructions on how to proceed.

PROJECT MIAN GOES TO SAN RICARDO!

The Provincial Government of Southern Leyte brings PROJECT MIAN (Moving Initiatives & Actions Nearer to all Southern Leyteños) headed by our Provincial Governor Hon. Damian G. Mercado together with Vice Governor Rosa Emilia G. Mercado to the Local Government Unit of San Ricardo tomorrow, March 13, 2024.

Project MIAN is a flagship program of the provincial government that aims to deliver services and benefits to Southern Leyteños. It is grounded to purposely deliver the services and benefits closer to clients and beneficiaries instead of personally visiting the office in the provincial capitol. This program offers the following services to wit:

1. Medical Mission (Dental, medical consultation)
2. Legal Consultations
3. Distribution of seeds

We would like to inform all business owners/establishments of San Ricardo that our renewal of business permit is extended until January 31, 2023 without surcharge & interest per SB Res. 008-2024. Moreover, please grab the opportunity of our Business One-Stop Shop located at municipal hall.

Starting February 1, interest and surcharges shall be imposed. Thank you.
