The 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 is celebrated today by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 374 s. 1965 in commemoration of the time when our “flag was first raised and received its baptism of fire and victory in the battle of Alapan, Imus, Cavite, on May 28, 1898” during the Philippine revolution.
