August 17, 2026 (Monday) effective 12:00 noon

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Quezon
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

LOOK | Distribution of 1st Batch of Laptops for Teachers 💻

Our sincere thanks to the City Government of San Pedro, led by City Mayor Art Joseph Francis Mercado together with our SDO’s Schools Division Superintendent Sir Phillip Gallendez, for the 1st batch of laptop distribution to our KS1 teachers on July 28, 2026.

Last July 23, 2026, the newly elected officers of Bagong Silang Elementary School officially took their oath of office during the Joint Oath-Taking Ceremony!

Alongside our dedicated officers of Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Homeroom PTA (HRPTA), and Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), officers raised their hands in commitment to a shared vision: providing the best support, guidance, and education for our learners.

Also, present in the said event was OIC-School Head Maria V. Avila Brgy. Captain Reinelin R. Talaga, Brgy. Committee on Education Carmela Tanael and other Brgy. Officials. Here’s to a collaborative, productive, and successful school year ahead! Together, we build a stronger school community. 🤝
