ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

The measure is in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and poor air quality in the NCR caused by haze from severe forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia.

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.

Today, September 3, 2026, all public schools across San Pablo City and the Schools Division Office (SDO) San Pablo City successfully participated in the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill!

In close collaboration with our proactive Barangay Local Officials and the Philippine National Police (PNP), our schools practiced vital safety protocols—including lockdowns, secure concealment, and evacuation procedures—to ensure a safe and prepared learning environment for every learner.

Following DepEd’s trauma-informed guidelines, today's exercise focused on calm, orderly, and realistic preparedness without the use of high-stress reenactments.Salute to all our teachers, students, non-teaching personnel, and community partners for a successful and orderly drill! 🙌👮‍♂️🏘️

ICMYI: 💧 Ensuring Safe Water for Every Learner
The Schools Division of San Pablo City, in partnership with the San Pablo City Water District (SPCWD), conducted the Distribution of Water Quality Test Results Certificates for the 81 public schools in the city as part of Brigada Eskwela 2026.
Through this partnership, free water quality testing was provided to help ensure safe and potable water in our schools—strengthening our shared commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of every learner.

TINGNAN: Pagpupulong sa Kahandaan sa Sakuna, Pamamahagi ng Kagamitan, at Oath-Taking ng Division Federated PTA Officers

“Pag handa ang paaralan, ligtas ang kabataan.”
Pinangunahan ng Schools Division Superintendent Gerlie M. Ilagan, kasama si Acting Mayor Carmela A. Acebedo, ang isang makabuluhang gawain para sa 81 pampublikong paaralan ng Schools Division Office of San Pablo City.
Namahagi ng 260 metal detectors at 300 armchairs para sa mga paaralan bilang suporta sa kaligtasan, kahandaan, at pagpapaunlad ng learning environment ng ating mga mag-aaral.
Kasabay nito, isinagawa rin ang Oath-Taking Ceremony ng Division Federated PTA Officers, bilang pagpapatibay sa mahalagang papel ng mga magulang bilang katuwang ng paaralan sa paghuhubog at kapakanan ng bawat mag-aaral.
Sa pagtutulungan ng DepEd San Pablo City, Pamahalaang Lungsod, mga paaralan, at mga magulang, patuloy nating isinusulong ang isang ligtas, maayos, at learner-centered na paaralan.
Handang paaralan. Ligtas na kabataan. Mas matatag na komunidad.

SDO facilitates distribution of Lapel Voice Amplifiers

SDO San Pablo City, through its Property and Supply Unit, facilitates the Turn-Over Ceremony for the Distribution of Lapel Voice Amplifiers for classroom instructions last August 27, 2026 at San Pablo Central School gymnasium.

The distribution of Lapel Voice Amplifiers to all public Elementary and Secondary Schools is in support with DepEd's continuing efforts to provide appropriate learning resources and equipment to schools.

The activity, in support with Division Superintendent Gerlie Ilagan, was attended by OIC-ASDS Marbin Jeramil Fragata, Supply Unit led by Ms. Gizle Castillo, ITO Felipe Baldemoro, and representatives from San Pablo Central School.

TINGNAN: Araw ng mga Bayani,ipinagdiwang

Ginanap ang Pagdiriwang ng Araw ng mga Bayani 2026 ngayong ika-31 ng Agosto, taong 2026 sa Dona Leonila Urban Park, San Pablo City.

Pinaalala ni SDS Gerlie Ilagan na sa bawat taon ng pagdiriwang ng araw na ito ay mahalaga din na isabuhay ito at pagyamanin ang ipinaglaban ng ating mga bayani sa araw-araw mula sa simpleng mga gawain tulad ng pagtatapon ng basura sa tamang lugar at pag sunod sa mga batas at alituntunin ng bayan.

Ang pagdiriwang ay dinaluhan ni OIC-ASDS Marbin Jeramil Fragata, Chief Education Supervisors, School Heads, Section at Unit Heads at DepEd Chorale na nanguna sa pag awit ng Pambansang Awit, Bagong Pilipinas at Himno ng San Pablo.
