On March 23, 2026, the City Assessor’s Office of San Pablo led the first public consultation on the proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) in compliance with Republic Act No. 12001, also known as the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA).

RPVARA aims to standardize real property valuation across the Philippines, ensuring fair, transparent, and updated property assessments. It strengthens local government capacity in property valuation, promotes uniform appraisal practices, and helps boost revenue generation for essential public services while protecting taxpayers through equitable valuation guidelines.
