Sa inisyatibo ng mayor, 𝐃𝐫𝐚. 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐋. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐬 - 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳, opisyal nang umihip na ang unang bugso ng ebalwasyon para sa Search for the Cleanest and Greenest Barangay 2026 sa ating bayan! 🌿🧹

Kasama si 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐲 ng DILG-San Nicolas sa lupon ng mga evaluators ngayong taon, kasama ang ibang evaluators na sina 𝐅𝐨𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐨 at 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 ng MENRO, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐦 𝐆𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 ng MDRRMO, 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐨 at 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐘𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞ng CART, at 𝐅𝐨𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐮 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 at 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐙𝐰𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐫 ng MTCAO.

Ang taunang kompetisyong ito ay hindi lamang nakasentro sa pisikal na kalinisan at kaayusan ng bawat barangay. Masusing sinusuri din ang kabuuang pagtalima ng ating mga pamunuan sa iba't ibang programa at panuntunan ng pamahalaan, kabilang ang:

✅ Environmental Management: Pangangalaga sa kapaligiran, tamang pamamahala ng basura, at mga programang pangkalikasan (MENRO)

✅ Disaster Preparedness: Kahandaan at mabilis na pagtugon sa panahon ng sakuna at kalamidad (MDRRMO)

✅ DILG PPAs Compliance: Aktibong pagpapatupad sa mga programa, proyekto, at aktibidad ng DILG

✅ ARTA Compliance: Pagsunod sa Anti-Red Tape Authority para sa mabilis, tapat, at maayos na serbisyo publiko

✅ Culture & Tourism: Pagpapalago at pagpapahalaga sa turismo, pamana, at kulturang San Nicolanian (MTCAO)

Ngayong taon ay hindi lamang nakasentro sa barangay ang kompetisyon kundi isinama din ang partisipasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan.

Isang pagpupugay sa ating mga barangay na patuloy na nagpapamalas ng dedikasyon para sa isang malinis, luntian, ligtas, at progresibong San Nicolas! Patuloy nating itaguyod ang pamahalaang𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒐, 𝑴𝒂𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒚, 𝒂𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏!

Naging pangunahing paksa sa naturang pagpupulong ang kasalukuyang lagay ng panahon, ang patuloy na pagbabantay sa mga bagyo at Habagat (Southwest Monsoon), pati na rin ang mga hakbangin sa pagpapatatag ng ating kahandaan sa anumang sakuna at emergency.

Ito ay dinaluhan ni 𝐋𝐆𝐎𝐎 𝐕𝐈 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐂. 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, 𝐉𝐫 ng DILG - San Nicolas, Pangasinan, MSWD, MDRRMO, MHO, DepEd, PNP, BFP, MENRO, at iba pang mga ahensya at organisasyon.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

READ | DILG advances LGU digitalization to attract investments, strengthen local economies

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is accelerating digital transformation across local government units (LGUs) nationwide, advancing President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.'s directive to create a more business-friendly environment, attract investments, and stimulate economic growth in communities.

During his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Marcos underscored the vital role of digitalization and streamlined government processes in reducing bureaucratic delays, promoting ease of doing business, and driving economic development.

"Foreign investments continue to pour in because of our beneficial policies, especially those promoting ease of doing business and accelerating digital transformation that curb red tape and corruption," the President said.

In support of the President's directive and in compliance with Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the DILG reported that 1,414 or 92.18 percent of the country's 1,534 cities and municipalities are compliant with the prescribed Business Permitting and Licensing System (BPLS) standards for new applications, while 1,429 or 93.16 percent comply with the Building Permits and Certificate of Occupancy (BPCO) standards for renewal applications.

The Department said the high compliance rates translate to faster, more efficient, and more predictable business permitting and licensing services, making it easier for entrepreneurs and investors to establish and expand their operations while helping increase local revenues and generate employment opportunities.

The DILG likewise recognized the commitment of LGUs to embrace digital innovation and continuously improve public service delivery, noting that their efforts have not only enhanced the ease of doing business but also made government services more accessible and convenient for the public.

To further strengthen digital governance, the Department reported that 1,030 LGUs have already adopted the e-LGU System, allowing citizens to conveniently access government services online, including applications for business permits and licenses, payment of local taxes and fees, civil registry services, and other frontline transactions.

Jointly launched by the DILG and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in July 2023, the e-LGU System serves as a unified, people-centered digital platform that enables faster, more transparent, and more efficient government transactions.

At the barangay level, more than 25,000 barangays have also been oriented on the Barangay Information Management System (BIMS), a free digital platform designed to improve data accuracy, strengthen reporting, and support more efficient day-to-day governance through streamlined administrative and operational processes.

As the primary agency mandated to supervise local governments, the DILG reaffirmed its commitment to advancing digital transformation across all levels of local governance, empowering LGUs to deliver faster, more responsive, and investor-friendly services while creating greater opportunities for economic growth and improving the quality of life of every Filipino community.
