Under the leadership of ๐ญ๐ช๐บ๐ผ๐ท๐ป ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ต๐ฐ๐ป๐ถ ๐ญ. ๐ด๐จ๐บ๐ณ๐จ๐ต๐ฎ, ๐ซ๐บ๐ช, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of ๐ญ๐บ๐ผ๐ท๐ป ๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ป๐ถ ๐ญ. ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐จ๐น๐ฐ๐บ, ๐ซ๐บ๐ช, Provincial Fire Marshal of Catanduanes, personnel of San Miguel Fire Station, led by, SFO2 Sherryl G. Turado Officer-in-Charge participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack conducted on 03 September 2026.
The activity was conducted in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and participating school in the Municipality of San Miguel, namely San Miguel Central Elementary School.
The drill aimed to strengthen the preparedness and response capabilities of school personnel, learners, emergency responders, and partner agencies in addressing active attack incidents and other potential emergencies within the school environment.
The activity was conducted as part of the Safe School Initiative and in support of Oplan Ligtas Paaralan (OLP), aimed at strengthening school preparedness, promoting safety and security, and enhancing the coordinated response of schools, emergency responders, and partner agencies during active attack incidents and other emergencies.
Through the active participation and collaboration of the BFP, PNP, school authorities, and the community, the activity reinforced the importance of preparedness, proper coordination, effective communication, and a unified response in protecting lives and ensuring a safer learning environment.
