DILG IV-A congratulates all Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPCs) from 75 cities/municipalities and 2 provinces that garnered the Ideal Functionality Rating for 2026 LCPC Functionality Assessment.

Pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2021-039, entitled “Comprehensive Guidelines for the Establishment, Strengthening, and Monitoring of the LCPC at All Levels and for Other Purposes,” all LGUs in the region were assessed based on their performance in carrying out the roles and functions of the LCPC. The assessment focused on four (4) major areas: (1) Organizational Sustainability; (2) Policies and Plans for Children; (3) Budget for LCPC; and (4) Service Delivery, Monitoring, and Management for Children.

To monitor and evaluate the performance of the LCPCs, Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Forces (IMTFs) were created at the city/municipal, provincial, and regional levels. All component cities and municipalities were assessed by their respective Provincial IMTFs, while highly urbanized cities (HUCs) and provinces were assessed by the Regional IMTF.

The Regional IMTF is chaired by DILG and co-chaired by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), with members from the Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC) Secretariat, Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev, formerly NEDA), Department of Health (DOH), National Nutrition Council (NNC), Department of Education (DepEd), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), and Open Heart Foundation Worldwide, Inc. as the CSO partner with the participation of Regional Juvenile Justice and Welfare Committee (RJJWC) Secretariat.

PAGDIRIWANG | National Solo Parents Week 2026
Nakikiisa ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng San Mateo sa malawakang pagdiriwang ng National Solo Parents Week simula ngayong ika-13 hanggang ika-18 ng Abril 2026. Sa tema ng selebrasyon nito ngayong taon na “Hindi ka Nag-iisa sa Iyong Pag-iisa: Yakap at Kalinga para sa Solo Parent.”, nais nating itampok ang pagiging kahanga-hanga ng isang solo parent—may matibay na loob at pusong mapagkalinga, gayon na rin ang patuloy na pagsusumikap ng ating Pamahalaang Bayan na bigyang suporta ang mga programa’t inisyatibang mag-aangat sa kanila.

𝟭. Photocopy of Senior Citizens ID with three (3) specimens/ signature/ thumb mark (back and front)
🔴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲:
𝟭. Accomplished/ Filled-up Authorization Letter with NO ERASURE (provided by the DSWD Field Office IV-CALABARZON and distributed prior to the payout schedule)

𝟯. Photocopy of Valid ID/ Government-issued ID of the authorized representative valid within the current year (2026)
𝟰. If under quarantine, photo of the social pensioner holding the Accomplished/ Filled-up Authorization Letter
𝟱. Photo of the senior citizen with the authorization letter
