Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 132, work in government offices and classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be suspended in the National Capital Region and the following provinces at 1:00 p.m. on August 28, 2026, in anticipation of the further enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) by the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) that entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR):

📍 Occidental Mindoro

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

📢 BIR BANK BULLETIN NO. 2026-08

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Bank Bulletin No. 2026-08 dated July 14, 2026, regarding the Acceptance of BIR Form No. 0605 (Payment Form) for the Availment of One-Time Abatement of Micro Taxpayers.

All BIR Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) are advised to accept BIR Form No. 0605, together with the prescribed annexes, for payments under the one-time abatement program for micro taxpayers pursuant to Revenue Regulations No. 004-2026.
