𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 - 𝗦𝗥𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) proudly earned 1st Runner-Up in the Large Category during the Search for the Most Outstanding Supreme Secondary Learner Government in the La Union Schools Division.

This achievement reflects the strong leadership and commitment of the SSLG officers, led by 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘇𝗼, whose dedication and vision continue to bring meaningful impact to the student body. Guided by their core belief, “𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻,” the organization successfully turned plans into action through unity, hard work, and service.

The 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 is under the guidance of Adviser 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗘𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻𝗲 𝗨. 𝗡𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗷𝗮, whose mentorship played a vital role in shaping the organization’s success. The evaluation process was led by Monitoring Head 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗠. 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮, with the full support of Principal 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗖. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀, who continues to promote excellence in student leadership.

CONGRATULATIONS, SRNHS-SSLG!

Even without titles or leadership awards, true leaders will always find a way to serve, because for them, service is not defined by recognition, but by purpose. Looking at the SSLG Officers of Sto. Rosario National High School, Class of 2026, we see more than achievers, we see individuals shaped by dedication, humility, and a shared mission to uplift their Alma Mater—an institution that stands as a bridge towards excellence.

For two meaningful years, Shaira Angel D. Marzo, 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏, has embodied leadership grounded in passion and perseverance. From her beginnings as a Grade 7 Representative to serving two years as President, her journey reflects growth, resilience, and a heart that never wavered in serving others.

Beside her stands Angela Denice Jucar, who first served diligently as 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙎𝙀𝘾𝙍𝙀𝙏𝘼𝙍𝙔 and now continues her path as 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙑𝙄𝘾𝙀 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏—proving that leadership is built on consistency, trust, and unwavering commitment.

For a year, Roseanne Palabay, 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙏𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙐𝙍𝙀𝙍, carried her responsibilities with integrity, ensuring that every resource was managed with accountability and purpose.

Equally commendable are the voices of representation, Clyzelle Meccan Catbagan, 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙂𝙍𝘼𝘿𝙀 12 𝙍𝙀𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙑𝙀, and Gabriel Anthony Miranda, 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙂𝙍𝘼𝘿𝙀 10 𝙍𝙀𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙑𝙀, who showed that even in a short time, genuine service can leave a lasting impact.

Behind every strong student leadership is a guiding force that nurtures and inspires. With heartfelt gratitude, we recognize our SSLG Adviser, Ms. Maria Edralyne U. Nebrija, whose wisdom, patience, and unwavering support have shaped these leaders into who they are today. Alongside her is our SSLG Head, Mr. Joseph M. Padua, whose leadership and vision have continuously empowered the organization to serve with excellence and purpose. We also extend our deepest appreciation to our Principal, Dr. Maribel C. Reyes, whose guidance and commitment to educational excellence have strengthened the foundation of leadership within the institution.

Together, they remind us that leadership is not about awards, but about the willingness to serve even when no one is watching. Their legacy lives not only in accomplishments, but in the lives they have touched and inspired.

Proclaimed and celebrated are the official winners of the SSLG Halalan held last Friday, February 13, 2026—an election that reflected the voices, choices, and unity of the entire student body. 🗳️✨

After days of campaigning, preparation, and anticipation, the results are finally in, marking the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership. This victory is not only about positions gained, but about trust earned and responsibility accepted. Each elected officer now carries the mission to serve with integrity, lead with compassion, and represent every learner with dedication and excellence.

As the ballots were counted and the final names were proclaimed, the school community witnessed democracy in action—proof that every vote matters and every voice counts. In Loving Memory of 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐈 𝐆. 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐄 from 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟐 – 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧

With heavy hearts, we remember 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐢 𝐆. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞, whose life was taken too soon in a motorcycle accident last 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. He was more than just a classmate—he was a brother, a true friend, and a source of warmth and kindness to many students and teachers of 𝐒𝐭𝐨. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥.

Philip’s genuine heart, laughter, and presence touched the lives of those around him. He made people feel seen, valued, and never alone. Though his time with us was short, the impact he left will remain forever in our hearts.
