The Barangay Soledad Local Government Unit conducted its 36th Flag Raising Ceremony, in accordance with Republic Act No. 8491, also known as the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines.

The regular flag-raising ceremony serves as an important reminder of our patriotism, love of country, respect for our national symbols, and commitment to our duties as public servants and citizens. 🇵🇭

Through the proper observance of our national flag, we honor the sacrifices of those who came before us and strengthen our sense of national unity, pride, and responsibility.

The regular Flag Retreat is more than a ceremony—it is a meaningful expression of our patriotism, respect, and love for our country. In accordance with Republic Act No. 8491, we honor the Philippine flag as a symbol of our nation’s unity, freedom, and sovereignty.! 🇵🇭

🇵🇭 Importance of Flag Retreat under RA 8491

The Flag Retreat is important because it promotes respect, honor, and reverence for the Philippine flag, which symbolizes our national unity, sovereignty, and love of country.
Under Republic Act No. 8491, or the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, government offices and institutions are required to observe proper ceremonies involving the national flag, including its ceremonial lowering at sunset.

🇵🇭 35TH FLAG RAISING CEREMONY AND PBBM SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTION 🇵🇭

The 35th Flag Raising Ceremony of the year was successfully held today, September 1, 2026, at Barangay Soledad.

In accordance with Republic Act No. 8491, also known as the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, we gathered to honor our Philippine Flag and demonstrate our love, respect, and patriotism for our country. 🇵🇭

At the same time, the PBBM Scholarship/Educational Assistance was distributed to the five (5) scholar-beneficiaries of Barangay Soledad, providing support and assistance for their educational journey.

May this assistance inspire our scholars to continue striving for excellence and pursue their dreams for a brighter future. 📚🎓

Together, let us continue to uphold unity, patriotism, education, and dedicated public service toward a more progressive Barangay Soledad.

📍 BADAC & BPOC MONTHLY MEETING

📍 Barangay Soledad, San Jose, Camarines Sur

The Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) and Barangay Peace and Order Council (BPOC) successfully conducted their monthly meeting with the active participation of the San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS) personnel, led by PAT Merliza D. Beringuela, Asst. MCAD PNCO.

The meeting focused on the current peace and order situation in the barangay, particularly the latest updates and developments regarding the campaign against illegal drugs.

During the discussion, updates were provided regarding the ongoing anti-illegal drug campaign, drug-related concerns, and various prevention initiatives. The importance of continued coordination among Barangay Officials, BADAC, BPOC, the Philippine National Police (PNP), and community members was also emphasized to effectively address concerns and maintain peace and order in the community.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to discuss strategies and appropriate measures to:

✅ Strengthen the barangay's anti-drug programs
✅ Improve community awareness
✅ Prevent illegal drug activities
✅ Encourage residents to actively participate in maintaining a safe and drug-free environment

🔥 COMMUNITY FIRE AUXILIARY GROUP PARTICIPATION
August 28, 2026| FRIDAY

Barangay Soledad, together with the Barangay Appointees and Barangay Council, actively participated in the Community Fire Auxiliary Group Firefighting and Rescue Techniques Simulation Exercise held at San Antonio Covered Court, San Antonio, San Jose, Camarines Sur.

This meaningful activity enhanced the participants’ knowledge and skills in firefighting, rescue techniques, emergency preparedness, and community safety.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Bureau of Fire Protection – San Jose Fire Station for conducting this important activity and to everyone who actively participated.

Barangay Soledad successfully conducted its 34th Flag Retreat of the year on Friday, August 28, 2026, with the special participation of the Police Officers from San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS). 👮‍♂️🇵🇭
