Vision
San Jose City by the year 2020, as the center of progressive agro-trade and industry in the northern part of Nueva Ecija through adoption of appropriate agricultural science and technology and strong support from the government and the private sector and the City Agriculture as a partner of farmers towards agricultural development, global competitiveness and people empowerment. Objectives
T

o increase farm income and productivity thru the promotion of improved crop production technology with technical assistance and supervision to clients
To package recommended crop production, postharvest and marketing technologies suited to the different agro-climatic zones and needs of the locality;
To ensure timely delivery and steady supply of quality seeds, planting materials and other agricultural/fishery inputs for distribution. To prevent and/ or control the spread of plant pests and diseases and protect the health and safety of the populace. To improve and protect soil and water resources and sustain its productivity through the use of recommended conservation measures. To assist farmer’s production endeavor through linkaging with financial and marketing institutions. To strengthen farm family organization through provision of technical assistance that will serve as channel for developing leadership and cooperation in community development. To provide personnel with upgraded farm system and other crop production technologies to increase productivity of the area and the technical, leadership and management skills for better client relations and servicing.

In line with the directive of Mayor Josel "James" F. Violago to normalize government operations, the San Jose City Local Government Unit will officially return to its regular office schedule beginning June 1, 2026, ending the previously implemented compressed workweek arrangement.

Under the regular government office hours, transactions and services in City Hall and other LGU offices will be available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The City Government will also continue to observe energy and resource conservation measures, including the responsible use of air-conditioning, proper shutdown of electronic equipment after office hours, turning off lights in unoccupied areas, and limiting official travel to essential activities only.

PAGBIBIGAY PUGAY!

Taos-pusong pagbati at pagpupugay kay Gng. Ana Catalina Peralta Trinidad ng Brgy. Culaylay, San Jose City, sa kanyang natatanging tagumpay bilang Regional Outstanding Rural Woman na pinarangalan sa ginanap na 51st Gawad Saka Awards sa Tarlac City Gymnatorium kahapon, Mayo 29, 2026.

Ang Gawad Saka ay kinikilala bilang isa sa pinakamataas at pinakaprestihiyosong parangal ng Department of Agriculture para sa mga natatanging magsasaka, mangingisda, kababaihan sa kanayunan, organisasyon, at iba pang indibidwal na may malaking ambag sa pagpapaunlad ng sektor ng agrikultura at pangisdaan sa bansa. Itinatag ito upang kilalanin ang kahusayan, inobasyon, dedikasyon, at mga makabuluhang kontribusyon tungo sa mas matatag na seguridad sa pagkain at kaunlaran ng mga pamayanang rural.

Ang pagkakahirang ni Gng. Trinidad bilang Regional Outstanding Rural Woman ay patunay ng kanyang sipag at walang sawang paglilingkod sa kanyang komunidad. Siya ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon hindi lamang sa mga kababaihan ng Brgy. Culaylay kundi maging sa buong Nueva Ecija at Rehiyon III na patuloy na nagsusulong ng kaunlaran sa agrikultura at kabuhayan sa kanayunan.

Nawa’y magsilbi ang kanyang tagumpay bilang huwaran at inspirasyon sa mas marami pang Pilipino upang ipagpatuloy ang pagsisikap, pagkakaisa, at pagmamahal sa sektor ng agrikultura.
