"Public service was never about position, but about purpose."
For former 3-Term City Councilor Patrixie Salvador-Garcia of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, a YLGG Fellow, Sec. Jesse Robredo’s Tsinelas Leadership served as her guiding anchor throughout her nine years in local government.
Sec. Jesse showed us that genuine leadership isn't defined by an official title or a term in office. As Councilor Patrixie beautifully reflects: "Those lessons did not end with my term, just as Sec. Jesse’s legacy did not end with his lifetime. As a YLGG Fellow, I will continue to champion leadership that is Matino, Mahusay, at May Puso wherever I am called to serve."
Whether inside or outside elected office, true public servants carry the torch of good governance wherever they go.
