As rain pours over San Jose, teachers and personnel of San Jose National High School gather at the Convention Hall of Aroma Family Hotel and Resort Complex today, September 10, for the first day of the schoolโ€™s two day Inservice Training (INSET) 2026.

Anchored on the theme โ€œEmpowered SJNHS Teachers: Building a Resilient School Community,โ€ the training opens with sessions focused on strengthening professional practice and equipping teachers with practical strategies for the classroom.

Day 1 features discussions on performance implementation, positive strategies for effective classroom management, and evidence based solutions to classroom problems. The afternoon sessions turn to basic skills in guidance counseling, emphasizing the role of teachers in supporting learners beyond the classroom.

While the rain continues to pour outside, learning continues within the training hall, with SJNHS personnel coming together to reflect, learn, and strengthen the practices that help build a more resilient school community.

The Youth for Environmental and School Organization (YES-O) proudly participated in the San Jose National High School Sports Fest 2026, held on August 21โ€“22, 2026.

Our dedicated officers and members actively assisted and monitored the Taekwondo event, helping ensure a smooth and organized competition. But beyond the excitement, energy, and fun brought by the Sports Fest, YES-O remained committed to one of its most important responsibilitiesโ€”caring for the environment and maintaining the cleanliness of our school surroundings. ๐ŸŒฟ

While everyone enjoyed the spirit of sports and friendly competition, YES-O members worked together to help keep the campus clean, organized, and well-maintained. With specific areas assigned to members and officers, everyone contributed their time and effort in maintaining the cleanliness of the school throughout the event.

Despite the fun and celebration, YES-O never forgot that caring for our environment should always continue. The dedication, teamwork, and responsibility shown by our members prove that enjoying an event and protecting our surroundings can go hand in hand. ๐ŸŒฑ

Uminit ang labanan sa ikalawang araw ng programa ng San Jose National High School, kung saan nagharap ang mga atleta ng Taekwondo upang ipamalas ang kanilang husay, bilis, tapang, at disiplina sa bawat laban na ginanap sa Bulwagang Andres Bonifacio noong Agosto 22.

Sa bawat bitaw ng sipa, suntok, at bawat matatag na depensa, kapansin-pansin ang determinasyon at kahandaan ng mga manlalaro na makamit ang panalo.

Higit pa sa pagkamit ng tagumpay, nagsilbi ring mahalagang preparasyon ang kompetisyon upang higit pang mahasa ang kakayahan ng mga atleta. Nakatakda silang magpatuloy sa pagsasanay bilang paghahanda para sa susunod na kompetisyonโ€”ang Area Meet 2026.

๐˜ผ๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ˆ๐™š๐™™๐™–๐™ก๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ฃ (๐˜ผ๐™ˆ) conducted its School-Based Campus Journalism Training for aspiring campus journalists, August 21, 2026.

School paper advisers, coaches and senior staff members served as facilitators and speakers for various journalism categories, sharing their knowledge and skills with participants throughout the training.

The activity aimed to identify prospective members of the school publication and select students who will represent SJNHS in the upcoming schools press conferences.

The training also provided aspiring journalists with an opportunity to hone their skills, gain valuable insights and become the voice of truth and change.

Matapos ang ilang araw na pagsuspinde ng face to face classes dulot ng Habagat, muling nabuhay at nagkaroon ng kulay ang San Jose National High School nang pormal na binuksan ang Sports Fest 2026 ngayong Biyernes, Agosto 21.

Dumalo at nakilahok sa pambungad na programa ang mga manlalaro, kasama ang mga coach, faculty, at mga magulang.

Pinangunahan at masusing inihanda ng mga g**o sa MAPEH Department ang programa upang maipakita ang husay, galing, at talento ng mga atleta sa iba't ibang larangan ng palakasan.

Layunin nito na palakasin ang pagkakaisa, disiplina, at pagpapahalaga sa sportsmanship ng mga kalahok.

Ang nasabing kaganapan ay tatagal ng tatlong araw (Agosto 21-23). Inaasahang magpapamalas ang mga atleta ng kanilang kakayahan at determinasyon habang isinasabuhay ang diwa ng maayos na kompetisyon at pagkakaisa.

The School-Based Deworming Program was successfully conducted in partnership with the Municipal Health Office of San Jose, which provided deworming tablets for learners. Prior to the activity, the TLE Department led a feeding program to ensure students had eaten before taking the medication. A total of 578 learners were successfully dewormed.
