The Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office (MEEDO) of LGU San Jose de Buenavista, Antique conducted a benchmarking visit to the Iloilo Terminal Public Market and La Paz Public Market as part of its learning tour across Western Visayas.

The activity aimed to gather practical insights on market management, operations, and best practices that can help improve and innovate the management of municipal economic enterprises in San Jose de Buenavista.

MEEDO San Jose expresses its sincere appreciation to the Iloilo City Local Economic Enterprise Office, headed by Ms. Maricel N. Mabaquiao, and her accommodating staff for the warm welcome and for facilitating a fruitful learning exchange.

​Yesterday, we officially signed Executive Order No. 24, Series of 2026. Following the directive from the Office of the President through Memorandum Circular No. 114, the Municipality of San Jose de Buenavista is adopting a four-day compressed workweek to promote energy conservation and operational efficiency.

​Our New Work Schedule

​To complete the required 40-hour workweek while reducing our energy footprint, the following schedule is now in effect:

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.

Lune asta Huwebes bukas ang Munisipyo halin 7am asta mag 6pm.

• ​Essential Services: Health, emergency response (MDRRMO), and public safety units will maintain regular schedules to ensure uninterrupted service.
