A meaningful Symposium on Building Values Education was held at Belison National School on August 14, 2026, bringing together young minds for an inspiring and purposeful learning experience. 📚💡

The activity was made possible through the invitation of the Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) students, with the insightful session conducted by Mrs. Ruchel Bustillo from the Office of the Provincial Population Officer, and with the assistance of Ms. Irra Theresa Balbuena, Population Program Worker II assigned in Belison. 🤝

The Grade 8 students actively participated, gaining valuable insights on the importance of good values, responsible choices, and becoming individuals who can make a positive difference in their families, school, and community. 🌟

Empowering BSPOs Through the Population and Development Data Management System

The Office of the Provincial Population Officer (OPPO) – Antique successfully conducted an Orientation on the Population and Development Data Management System (PopDev DMS) for the Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPOs) of the Municipality of San Remigio, Antique.

The orientation aimed to enhance the capacity of BSPOs in the collection, organization, management, and utilization of population and development data at the barangay level. The PopDev DMS will help strengthen local data management and provide reliable information that can guide planning, programming, and decision-making for responsive population and development interventions.

The OPPO–Antique extends its sincere appreciation to Hon. Mayor Mar Mission for his presence and meaningful message of support. His commitment to addressing the needs of the BSPOs and strengthening the implementation of population and development programs in the municipality is a valuable contribution to our shared goal of bringing responsive services closer to the people.
