𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: 𝐏𝐒𝐀 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙣-𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐬, 𝐒𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐦

The Philippine Statistics Authority - Antique Provincial Statistical Office joined the 𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘯-𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 held yesterday, 03 September, at Brgy. Tordesillas, Sibalom.

PSA Antique brought its services closer to the community by conducting mobile registrations for the National ID, updating demographic information, and issuing paper-form National IDs. The office also offered the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) which targets unregistered residents, marginalized individuals, and indigenous communities who do not have a birth certificate.

The activity was a joint effort of the Local Government Unit of Sibalom through the leadership of Hon. Gian Carlo F. Occeña and RPSB Team Lead by PLT Jay-jay L. Estilles.

All clients are required to present the following upon entry:
• Proof of confirmed online appointment
• One (1) valid identification card

Please be advised that all transactions, like Copy Issuance and **Authentication, are available through the online appointment system.

Clients are encouraged to secure their appointment in advance by visiting: https://appointment.psa.gov.ph

Securing an appointment is FREE OF CHARGE and the Appointment Slip is NON-TRANSFERABLE.

The Public Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD) extends assistance to clients in scheduling appointments when they are unable to book on their own.

Special consideration may be given to priority clients, such as senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) or those from far-flung areas with limited or no access to technology.

EARLIER TODAY | DAY 3 & CLOSING CEREMONY: COMPLETING THE PROVINCIAL TRAINING ON SSRCS AND PSIC

That’s a wrap for the 3-day Provincial-Level Capacity Building on Statistical Classifications! Representatives from all 19 LGUs across Antique completed their final day of intensive learning and hands-on application today.

Today’s sessions put knowledge into practice through interactive, real-world exercises:

* Participants applied classification rules to identify correct PSIC codes and determine primary economic activities for various sample businesses.
* Planners and BPLOs reviewed pre-assigned PSIC codes of sample establishments, evaluating their accuracy and defending their findings with proper classification rationale.
* Attendees tackled complex scenarios, learning how to pinpoint an establishment's primary economic activity based on revenue shares across multiple business lines.
* Participants successfully registered on TUKLAS, the official e-learning platform of the PSA, exploring interactive modules on PSIC and related statistical classification topics for continuous learning.

To cap off the 3-day activity, participants were officially awarded their Certificates of Completion in recognition of their commitment and active engagement throughout the training.

In his closing remarks, Rodme A. Febreo, Supervising Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, expressed the agency’s deep appreciation to all 19 LGUs for their unwavering support and strong partnership in driving PSA initiatives forward.

It was an extraordinarily productive three days! Our local planners and licensing officers return to their respective municipalities equipped with updated knowledge and tools ready to be institutionalized in local governance and development planning.
