2-Day Municipal Inter-Agency Council (MIAC) Technical Review was conducted to capacitate the community volunteers in finalizing and harmonizing documentary requirements relative to Request for Fund Release (RFR) under Phase 2 of KC NCDDP-Additional Financing.

Kudos to MIAC members who were there tirelessly to provide Technical Assistance. And congratulations to the 14 Barangays of this Municipality, malapit na tayo sa implementation. 😊

PARTICIPATORY SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS VALIDATION

In partnership with Municipal Planning and Development Office headed by the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Engr. Mercy Mangunlay, KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP-Additional Financing PSA Validations were successfully conducted from March 8-22, 2022.

The concerns and issues in the community were identified using the Expanded Problem-Solution Finding Matrix (EPSFM), followed by a sub-project prioritization through Expanded BDRRMC.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TRAINING (CLUSTER 2)

To capacitate members of the Operation and Maintenance Group and BRDDMC in order to assure Sustainability and Progressive operation and maintenance of the Sub-projects KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP-AF conducted an Operation and Maintenance Training for the O&M Group who will be the in-charge of the quarantine facilities.
Below are the objectives of the training:
 review the roles and functions of the Operation and Maintenance members;
 review/draft the Guideline and Operation;
 familiarize the Sustainability Evaluation; and
 familiarize/review the Operation and Maintenance related documents.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TRAINING was conducted to capacitate the Barangay Sta. Cruz Workers' Association who will be managing the Water System Sub-Project under the Phase 1 of the KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP-Additional Financing.

The training results were:
 participants were able to understand the operation and maintenance of the water system including the solar panel;

 reviewed their Constitution and By-Laws;

 familiarized with the preparation of Operation's Manual; and

 understood the purpose and the process of Sustainability Evaluation.

The 1-day activity was held last February 22, 2023

As the Phase 2 of the KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP-Additional Financing in the Municipality of Tampakan commenced last January 19, 2023, the 1st MDRRMC Meeting was then conducted on February 28, 2023 with the following agenda:

 the Phase 2 KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP-Additional Financing Grants and Criteria, and the minimum required Local Counterpart Contribution to the sub-project
 inclusion of 3 Community Volunteers and the Area Coordinator as additional MDRRMC members
 the Phase 2 Timeline and community empowerment activities
 the Negative Sub-Project List
 the DSWD KALAHI National Program Management Memorandum on the Solar Street Lights as a proposed sub-project
 the remaining Phase 1 sub-project implementation and action to be taken to fast-track implementation

Output/s:
*resolution approving the expansion of the MDRRMC and another resolution accepting the presented Phase 2 KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP-Additional Financing Grants
*Action plan for the next activities

TURN-OVER CEREMONY

Barangay Development Council-Technical Working Group (BDC-TWG) of Barangay Kipalbig turned-over the sub-project “Improvement of Existing Public Building as Quarantine Facility” to the Barangay Local Government Unit of Kipalbig.

The activity was joined by the Community Volunteers headed by Engr. Edgardo Claudio, Punong Barangay Rolando D. Malabuyoc, Municipal Kagawad Raymond A. Siloterio, Municipal Mayor Leonard T. Escobillo, RN, DSWD Regional Director Loreto Jr. V. Cabaya, and other stakeholders.

The sub-project has 3 sites (Sitio Matagol, Sitio Bukang, and Purok Mabini) with a Total Project Cost of Php 2,502,474.95 intended for the improvement of the identified existing public buildings to be used as quarantine facility.

During his message, Mayor Leonard T. Escobillo, RN commends how the project empowers the ordinary people in the community. He also expressed his full support to the project’s next phase.
