The Province of Agusan del Sur was recognized as the CY 2025 Outstanding Local Project Monitoring Committee โ€“ Provincial Category during the 124th (4th Quarter) Regional Development Council Full Council Meeting held on 25 November 2025 in Butuan City, Philippines.

The Regional Development Councilโ€“Caraga awarded the Plaque of Commendation to the province under the leadership of Governor Santiago B. Cane, Jr., marking the fourth time that Agusan del Sur has received this distinction. The province garnered an overall score of 105 out of 100, with the additional 5 bonus points granted in recognition of its strengthened Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives, which contributed to enhanced project monitoring performance and community impact.

This honor underscores the Provincial Government of Agusan del Surโ€™s continuous efforts to uphold transparency, reinforce monitoring systems, and ensure the effective implementation of development programs across the province. Agusan del Sur remains committed to responsible governance and results-oriented public service.
