Once again, SK Federation and San Francisco Youth As One return for another fun-filled encampment! A place where you can make long lasting friendships, enhance your skills and unlock your potential, if this is something that you find interesting then we highly encourage you to join this year's ALAB Encampment!

Humana ta sa DAGYAW "Unity" ug karon na nagkahiusa nata, it's time to ignite the flame of passion for youth empowerment! this June 27 - 29, join us for another year of adventure with brand new mga ate's and kuya's, and harder obstacle courses!

How to register?
1. Fill up the google form (registration form)
2. Get a copy of the parent's consent and waiver from the Purok Office at the Municipal Hall, contact Kuys Bringhart to get a copy of the consent
3. Once you are done filling this out, submit it again to the Purok Office
4. A list of requirements will be given to you together with the parents consent

*PARENTS CONSENT AND WAIVER IS MANDATORY*, We will not be held liable if you have joined the camp with a parents consent that is not signed by your parent/guardian mismo

Are you ready for another fun filled learning day?

She, He, We, You, They! where do you remember this? I remember it in elementary they used to teach it to us so we could learn the appropriate pronouns but back then all we had was She and He, but in this day and age, we have an entire spectrum of genders!

Do we shy away from learning all about what gender really is ? Definitely not, instead we embrace it with all we can! So tomorrow join us as we talk all about gender, gender roles, and gender equity! 🤍

The SK Federation is tasked to initiate youth development initiatives throughout the municipality, and for each quarter we aim to attain a few goals, to maintain transparency with the youth here are the activities we plan to accomplish

What are the upcoming activities for the 2nd quarter of the year ?

No. 1 - KA - UGNAY: KK Leadership Training
This program aims to reactivate KK Officers/Members through basic leadership training, San Francisco has no shortage of amazing and hardworking youth but the challenge is to empower them so they can become future leaders in our community

No. 2 - Youth Leader's Facilitators Training
In San Francisco, we have a group of youth facilitators (active youth coming from various barangays), in order to improve their leadership skills further as we move forward in our trainings, we decided it was time to train the trainors once again to sharpen their minds to become ate's and kuya's for our upcoming municipal wide encampment

No. 3 Tingog Kabatan-onan
The one and only radio segment hosted by youth is making a comeback this June to lead the way in talking about the various topics concerning the youth of San Francisco! Empowering the youth one segment at a time, atangi!

No. 4 Youth Leadership Summit/Municipal Wide Camp
Returning for it's 3rd year, we bring you once again another survival encampment, are you ready for another adventure? because we're getting ready for you, Camp dates are June 26, 27, 28, and 29 🥳

No. 5. Youth Needs Assessment Program
As per the youth welfare ordinance of San Francisco, one of the many mandates is to conduct the Youth Needs Assessment in order to gather data on the various needs of the youth in San Francisco, this will help us gain a better understanding on what we should include in our Local Youth Development Plan 💙

No. 6 SK Capacity Building: MICE Training
We all know our SK's are quite capable in event organizing, but it never hurts to improve our skills in order to improve our services as well! 💙

Good Day!

today there will be a youth dialogue with the running councillors with Team Arquillano at Brgy Western Poblacion, SF Covered Court 3pm in the afternoon

if any of you are interested to ask our running councillors about their platforms, feel free to come over, anonymous ang questions to be safe pero i-screening siya daan to avoid overly personal questions, we want to ensure a safe event for both councilors and youth participants

Why is it important to have a dialogue with our future leaders in San Francisco?

• It helps us to understand the direction that San Francisco is going with regards to development
• It teaches the youth that in order to become a leader one must be willing to talk and commune with the young.generation (the future of our town), the best governance is when the youth bring the energy and the older leaders bring the guidance
• To encourage the youth that it is good to ask questions and even better to be concerned about your town

This event was requested by our running councilors in order to get closer to the youth, and so we helped to organize this event in order to encourage the youth to take part and to bridge the future gap between government and youth. Kitakits!
