Through interactive discussions and learning activities, BFAR raised awareness among young learners on marine resources, fisheries conservation, and the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems, while fostering environmental responsibility at an early age.

The outreach also featured a gift-giving activity that brought joy to the children and helped strengthen community ties within the coastal barangay.

Among the items distributed were educational materials, snack kits, rice, vegetable seeds, hygiene kits, and shirts, provided by partner agencies including BFAR–Region 1, the GCG R1, Inc., Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 1 (DA-RFO1), Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office 1 (PSA-RSSO1) , and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas-San Fernando City La Union Branch (BSP-SFLU).
