From La Union to Cotabato, Rotary continues to bring people together through friendship, service, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

Congratulations, Governor Maureen Cacabelos! May your passion for service inspire every Rotarian in District 3870 to dream bigger, serve better, and create a lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Another Rotary adventure with fellow District Governors-Elect DGE Noel and DGE Rhyan, together with RPIC Mildred, as we travel to Cotabato City for the installation of DGE Maureen.

These journeys remind me that Rotary is more than service. Its also about friendship, fellowship, shared experiences, and the chance to support one another as we prepare for the year ahead.

Excited to celebrate this special occasion and support a fellow DGE as she begins her year of service.

June 5, 2026.

Finally home, carrying with us not just souvenirs and photos, but memories and friendships that we will treasure for a lifetime.

Last June 1, right after our Club Leadership Learning Seminar (CLLS), my wife Sheila, our son Luc, Incoming Club President David Kim of the Rotary Club of Angeles, and I flew to Korea for the District Sisterhood Agreement with our sister district, District 3590, in Jinju City.

What we experienced was far more than an official visit. We were welcomed with open arms, treated like family, and reminded once again that Rotary has the power to bring people together beyond borders, languages, and cultures.

It was a privilege to attend the installation of DGE Kim Byong Yun. Congratulations, my friend and classmate. Your passion, humility, and dedication to Rotary inspire confidence that District 3590 will surely continue to thrive under your leadership. We also extend our warmest thanks to your spouse Kim Yunseo for the kindness and gracious hospitality shown to us throughout our visit.

To all our friends in District 3590, thank you for your friendship and very warm hospitality. This visit has strengthened not only the relationship between our districts but also the personal bonds that make Rotary such a special part of our lives.

As we return home, we do so with grateful hearts, renewed energy, and an even stronger commitment to serve. Though miles separate our countries, the friendship between District 3790 and District 3590 has never been stronger.

Until we meet again, our dear Rotary family.
Kamsahamnida.

Maraming Salamat, District 3790!

My heart is filled with gratitude as I thank everyone who helped make our Club Leadership Learning Seminar on May 29-30, 2026 a remarkable success.

Seeing 552 Rotarians come together over the past two days was both inspiring and humbling. It filled me with hope and excitement for the year ahead and reminded me of what we can accomplish when we unite behind a common purpose, a commitment to learning, and a passion for service.

To our 552 participants, Distinguished Speakers, Past District Governors and their spouses, District Officers, Assistant Governors, District Learning Team, District Events Team, District Creative Team, Rotaractors, volunteers, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, thank you. Your dedication, teamwork, and belief in our shared vision made this event possible.

Allow me to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our host club, the Rotary Club of Narvacan, led by Event Chair PP Gigi, for a job exceptionally well done. You embraced the challenge of hosting this important event and exceeded all expectations. Your hard work, teamwork, and warm hospitality were evident in every detail.

You reminded us that excellence is not defined by the size of a club, but by the dedication of its members, the strength of their commitment, and their willingness to serve. You have set a wonderful example for our district and have made your club, your community, and District 3790 proud.

I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to my home club, the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union, Team RCSFLU. As always, thank you for your All-out support and encouragement. Through every challenge and every milestone, you have stood beside me. I am truly grateful to be part of such an amazing Rotary family.

The success of this seminar belongs to all of you. It is a reflection of what can happen when Rotarians work together, support one another, and strive for excellence.

Once again, Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!

DGE Ronald Dy
