The Naval Installation and Facilities Northern Luzon (NIF-NL) under Naval Installation Command (NIC) formally entered into a partnership with Lorma Medical Center through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the provision of healthcare services to the personnel of Northern Luzon Naval Command (NLNC). The ceremony was held at Naval Station Ernesto Ogbinar in Poro Point, City of San Fernando, La Union on March 12, 2026.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to taking better care of personnel not only by ensuring compliance with regulations but also by promoting their overall well-being. With the support of a trusted medical institution, NLNC through NIF-NL strengthened their efforts to maintain a safe, healthy, and disciplined environment. More than just a formal agreement, it represents a unified effort to safeguard the welfare of personnel and ensure they remain fit, ready, and capable of carrying out their duties.

The Naval Installation and Facilities - Northern Luzon proudly conducted a Donning and Retirement Ceremony to honor two significant milestones in the life of our personnel one beginning a new chapter of leadership and responsibility, and another closing a remarkable journey of dedicated service.

The donning of a new rank symbolizes trust, commitment, and readiness to take on greater responsibilities in service to the nation. As our newly promoted personnel step forward to embrace their new mission, they carry with them the values of integrity, professionalism, and excellence that define our organization.

At the same time, we pay tribute to a respected member of our ranks who now concludes a career marked by loyalty, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. Retirement is not merely the end of service but the celebration of a mission well accomplished and a legacy that will continue to inspire those who follow.

May the newly donned rank serve as a reminder of the duty that lies ahead and may the years of honorable service rendered by our retiree stand as a testament to a life devoted to the country and the organization.

⁨⁨This marks another significant milestone as we inaugurate the TIKAS Projects, an infrastructure that stands not only as a facility, but as a powerful symbol of commitment and service. On this momentous event, we acknowledge the minds, the hearts, the hands, and the indomitable spirit of the people who made this project possible. This accomplishment reflects the unity, dedication, and unwavering resolve of our stakeholders, partners, and every individual who worked tirelessly to bring this endeavor to completion.
Equally meaningful is that this celebration coincides with the retirement of the Commander, Naval Installation Command, RADM FLORANTE N GAGUA PN, whose leadership, integrity, and steadfast devotion to duty have been instrumental in shaping the course of our naval infrastructure and capability development. Throughout his distinguished years of service in the Philippine Navy, he exemplified excellence, professionalism, and commitment to mission and country. His legacy will live on not only through the projects he helped build, but more importantly, through the people he has inspired, mentored, and led.
As we open new doors through this project, we also honor a leader who has completed his dedicated journey in uniform service. LOOK | Naval Installation and Facilities – Northern Luzon (NIF-NL), through its Detachment under the Commander, Naval Base Camilo Osias (NBCO), is currently participating in the Regional Environmental Law Enforcement Council (RELEC) Meeting held at the DENR Regional Office 2, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The Commander is attending the activity on behalf of the Commander, Northern Luzon Naval Command (COMNOLNAV).

The gathering, convened by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 2 (DENR RO2), serves as an essential venue for government agencies and stakeholders to come together, exchange insights, and strengthen unified actions in environmental protection. Through constructive discussions and enhanced collaboration, the RELEC aims to address key environmental concerns across the region.

The Philippine Navy remains steadfast in its commitment to champion environmental stewardship. Through continued partnership with various agencies, NIF-NL upholds its shared responsibility to protect natural resources and contribute to a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future for our communities.

Strength in Coordination 🤝Unity in Mission.
Ang matagumpay na Staff-to-Staff Talk (STST) sa pagitan ng Naval Installation and Facilities - Northern Luzon at Zambales ay nagsilbing mahalagang plataporma para sa mas malalim na koordinasyon, alignment ng operational priorities, at pagpapalitan ng kaalaman sa larangan ng installation support and facility management.

Sa pagpupulong, parehong NIFs ay naglatag ng kanilang best practices, operational procedures, at strategic considerations upang mapahusay ang kalidad ng serbisyo sa ating pangunahing stakeholders na umaasa sa matibay na suporta sa infrastruktura, logistics, port services, at base operations. Partikular na sa mga operating units lalung-lalo na sa mga barko ng Philippine Navy na nagbabantay sa ating karagatan

Ang patuloy na kolaborasyon at pagbubuklod ng dalawang NIFs ay patunay na ang epektibong serbisyo ay nakaugat sa sama-samang pagkilos, maayos na koordinasyon, at iisang adhikain: ang magbigay ng tuloy-tuloy, maaasahan, at mission-ready support sa buong Hukbong Dagat na naayon sa mandato ng Naval Installation Command
