Save the best for last!

For our final outdoor activity, our participants took on a challenging but super fun obstacle course facilitated by the 1st PMFC of Aurora Police Provincial Office. From crawling under nets, climbing, to balancing on beams, bawat isa really gave their best and pushed themselves to the limit.

The obstacle course wasn’t just about physical strength, it was also a test of teamwork, patience, and trust. Groups cheered for each other, offered helping hands, and celebrated every small victory along the way.

The energy was still high during our socialization night. Kahit pagod na sa buong araw, hindi nagpahuli ang bawat grupo sa on-the-spot fashion show gamit lang ang manila paper. Ang saya panoorin kung paano nila ginawa ang kanilang outfits iba-iba ang style, may nakakatawa, may creative, at may talagang rumampa na parang tunay na runway.

After that, each group also gave their pasabog presentations. May sumayaw, may kumanta, at may nag-sketch ng short skit. You could really see how confident, talented, and game na game ang kabataan natin.

More than the fun, it was a moment where everyone felt connected walang nahiyang sumali, walang naiwan, lahat nag-enjoy. It was the perfect way to end the day: full of laughter, bonding, and memories na siguradong baon ng lahat pag-uwi.

In the afternoon, the energy was even brighter as Síkat-Aurora led our Team Building Activities.

Everyone truly enjoyed the games, challenges, and group tasks prepared for us. Each activity was aligned with the themes Kamalayan, Hiraya, at Pangangasiwa, helping our participants understand self-awareness, vision, and leadership in a fun and engaging way.

But what made the session truly special was the heartfelt sharing that followed. Our youth opened up about their experiences, realizations, and hopes not just for themselves, but also for their fellow young people in Baler. It became a safe space where everyone felt heard, supported, and inspired.

This afternoon reminded us that growth doesn’t only happen in seminars, it also happens when we work together, trust one another, and learn through shared experiences.

PART II

The second part of our program was a full learning experience for everyone.

Doc. Mael Cautivar opened the session with a meaningful talk on Teenage Pregnancy. He reminded our youth to value their future, make responsible choices, and never be afraid to seek guidance when facing challenges. His message was simple but powerful: your dreams matter, so protect them.

This was followed by PCpl John Erick S. Aringo and PSSg Angelica R. Flores who discussed our Anti-Drugs Campaign. They emphasized how staying drug-free keeps you safe, healthy, and focused on building a better life. Their reminder to the youth: real freedom comes from making decisions that keep you away from harm.

The session ended with a strong and inspiring discussion from Mr. Reinald Jay Belen on Youth Development. He encouraged every young person to believe in their abilities, get involved in community efforts, and continue growing as leaders.

KICK-OFF CEREMONY | LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2025

Our celebration may be a little late this year, but our commitment to the youth is never late.
Since August is a busy month because of the Baler Town Fiesta, the SK Municipal Federation decided to hold our LNK Camp at a later date so we could make it more meaningful and worthwhile for everyone.

We would like to thank our Local Government Unit of Baler led by Mayor Rhett Angara, our Sangguniang Bayan Members, Vice Mayor Lian Angara, and Cong. Rommel Angara for sponsoring 150 LNK shirts for our participants.

We are also grateful to the Aurora Police Provincial Office, under the leadership of PCOL Robert L. Petate, for allowing us to use their area for our 2-day camp and for keeping our participants safe throughout the activity.

Because of your support, our Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 Kick-Off Ceremony became meaningful, inspiring, and memorable.

Our journey continues in the beautiful Province of La Union!, we had the honor of visiting the Provincial Government Office and were warmly welcomed by Engr. Robert Lelina, Assistant Provincial Administrator.

Engr. Lelina shared inspiring insights about the province and its continuous efforts in youth empowerment and development. Truly, there's so much more in La Union than just its scenic views—it’s a place of growth, leadership, and opportunity!

Isang Makasaysayang hakbang patungo sa mas matibay at matalinong pagboto ang ating matagumpay na naisagawa sa MARKA: Baler Voter’s Education and Empowerment Program para sa kabataan ng Baler noong Abril 5, 2025 sa Baler, Aurora.

Tinututukan ng programang ito ang pagpapalawak ng kaalaman ng mga kabataan sa kahalagahan ng pagiging MAALAM, ALISTO, at RESPONSABLENG botante sa darating na Midterm Election. Mahalaga ang partisipasyon ng kabataan sa halalan dahil tayo ang may hawak ng hinaharap ng ating bayan. Ang bawat boto ay may kapangyarihan na magdala ng pagbabago, kaya’t ang ating aktibong pagsali at responsableng pagpili ay makakaapekto sa ating komunidad at bansa.

Ito ay programa ng Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Baler at Local Youth Development Office na Sinuportahan ng Local Government Unit of Baler at Provincial Government of Aurora .
